I dont see anything wrong with these sites if you dont take the p1ss.

I think in terms of legality of the posted content:

a) If it is syndicated articles, you'll need to adhere to the terms of using the articles - usually you'd need to include the authors' resource boxes below the article where you've posted them.

b) if the article is unique (e.g. rewritten or spun) then all should be fine

c) y0utub3 provides you with the "embed video" code so those should be good for using.

Of course, each content provider will have specific terms of service so it is always safer to check what these TOS allow or disallow

The most common "FATAL ERROR" issue is the plugin requires php5, and your
host is likely still using php4.

"Google de-indexing" it could be any number of reasons. But I've not seen
this with my blogs, but one difference with mine...

I only use my plugin and outsource writing for unique articles, costs
go up but I think it's worth it.

The first blog I used my plugin and unique articles is averaging around 50,000
uniques a month, and I've not manually updated the site since march, just
let my plugin do the work.

It is a wordpress plugin that will allow you to import affiliate data feed and schedule the posting date. This is a huge amount of free content that you get for your blog and also a huge opportunity to monetize aside from adsense.

Go to the uberarticles dot com directory and look at the list that they use-- the plugin seems to pull more on those categories than any others.

2) The Platinum SEO plugin: There are 2 screenshots in the plugin. Should we tweak them as per the screenshots? (did you include the screenshots or were they part of the plugin?)

a) Screenshot 1 (Post/Page level meta tag options): Seems to show what we need to enter when we create new "Pages". Should we even follow what the screenshots show, please?
i.e.,
i) In the title area, screenshot1 shows that we are supposed to post Title: META Robots Tag (XXXX, YYYY, ZZZZ etc.) - I think the XXX, YYY , ZZZ are supposed to be the keywords? Or should we simply add an appropriate title with the keyword phrase for our page (like we normally might do)?

ii) In the keywords area, screenshot1 shows that we are supposed to post 2. Platinum SEO Plugin, META Robots, Index, Follow, NoIndex, NoFollow. So should we simply post our own keywords or keyword phrases here?

1. I think you are referring to the setup files? I vaguely remember looking at them when I first started these blogs [though I did read them to assure I got the most out of it], but I found that the plugin is setup just fine out of the box.

2. I add keywords and keyword phrases here. You may be referring to individual posts when you talk of the no follow, no index, follow etc. stuff as you have those options with the plugin installed, but since you are auto-posting it does not apply.

3) Last question is on having the tag cloud in the WP blog: I have actually set the tag widget to show in the sidebar from within the WP admin area. However, for the 2 different themes that I am testing this on, the tag cloud does not seem to show at all. What might I be doing wrong, please ?

What themes are you using? You went to the Design --> Widget Editor and then added the tag cloud widget to the sidebar [and clicked save obviously?]....? I've not had this problem on any of my sites and one thing I did make sure to do is change the themes up a bit so I did deal with quite a few different themes.


Sorry I always 'appear' to be 'here' but I like to keep BHW open in a tab and browse the new posts when I just need a break from work, lol. But I try to come back in here and see how ppl are progressing.

Yep, they can make excellent automated income and agreed, they
are a great alternative to adsense and on my sites any affiliate
promotion does much better than adsense!

I seem to be getting some articles for one of the test sites now. Yay!

My feedback after reading your post:
a) With regards to the tag cloud, I read your post and messed with the themes a little bit. Seems like the 2 or 3 themes I used didn't "allow" tag clouds or I just couldn't figure out how to get them to show (at least not in the normal manner). I switched themes or used the default (kubrick theme?) theme and the tag cloud showed just fine.

b) Tried your uberarticles suggestion and initially couldn't find the correct keyword/niche. So instead, I just used a generic or remotely related keyword (just 1 word) and that should help "test" that articles can get posted by the UAW plugin to the blog, it seems.


@All: Do you folks need to sign up for at least an affiliate account at the UAW website at all or you can just install the plugin and articles come streaming in?

It's real cool that Neil from wp-videotube is here also and again, great that you're sharing some tips and tricks

@wp-videotube: Hey Neil, any chance you might consider offering a special price to BHW (this forum) on your full version plugin?

I've heard it mentioned a few times, but no definitive answer: will using just subdomains, rather than one blog per domain, produce worse results? Shylesson, were all your blogs on separate domains?

On a related note, if I was to choose a hosting provider, and set up subdomains, how do I know if they are on separate ip's. Is there a list of hosting providers that are set up like this?

Hi again!

For the first part of your question, I dont think that you have to sign up or anything. You just need to be patient and choose a category that is generic so it will have more chances of an article being submitted.

Now for the test results
Everything seems to be working ok. Articles show up, YT videos being posted with the comments (hey neil nice plugin!) but not a single visitor (as always!). Tried some link building through SB but that did not help either. This is what I expected though that's why I was asking where the traffic should be coming from. If anyone has any tips on traffic please share.

If you want your subdomains to be on different ip's first of all you need multiple hosting accounts or have a reseller accounts and purchase additional IP's.

To assign the subdomains to different ip's you go to your name-registrar and use the DNS-management option. There you assign subdomains to different ip's. This way you can be sure on which ip each sub-domain is.

there are reseller accounts with 10 different IPs, fantastico AND cpanel and everything. CHEAP.

Don't even think about interlinking and blog-farming from subdomains....ugh...dont do it.
