Autoblogs= $$$

I know I have asked this before but I think is the key (for everybody here!) to make this successful. Where does traffic comes from?

I mean we are targeting latest 'hot' news right? Well, since we will be taking the news from other news site why should google give you higher SERP than the rest of the news sites (that you are borrowing their article)?

I guess if you are targeting hot news that would be the case . As in my case that is not the case as I am just using it to promote my site using rewriten articles .

But far as SE traffic no i do not beleive my visitors are coming from SE . Coarse I rarely get SE traffic at any point in time anyway. If I do it is from long tail keywords so long and searched for once in a lifetime that there is no reason to optimize my site for em.

Hello! This seem like a very nice idea and I'm going to try it out!
I wonder how many keywords are you actually using for the SEO plugin?

I also wonder if auto social poster would be good for this method.

That's a good idea...I have that plugin too but never thought to use it...hmmm good stuff....I may just have to stay up late one night and try a revamped batch of these based on suggestions here and see how they go....good stuff.

@pyscho-- I don't know how to say it any more clearer that the traffic comes straight from the search engines primarily and some through twitter. How is this so hard to believe? a lousy 200 visitors when there are millions upon millions of people on the internet at any given time? I put the keywords in the metas as well as decent keyword rich descriptions and make sure the posts have lots of tags by using the youtube plugin and that the tags appear in the sidebar so they are on all the pages so basically my blogs are like a big fat targeted keyword cloud for searchers.

I have read the posts where after 6 months these guys sites' get de-indexed...I have not reached the 6 month mark yet so I cannot speak for the longevity of this method.

Hey man dont get me wrong! I was asking more details not as a proof but as a way to expand it further! As of the 200 visitors, I am always under-confident... I think I have Google-phobia i.e. I always think that my sites wont get any visitors :rolleyes:

Thanks for posting your method.

Would you mind explaining a little more about the following, please:

1) UAW plugin - After installation, changing permissions for the files mentioned in the readme.txt and activation, how does the plugin know what kinds of articles to pull (since we don't enter keywords like the wp-videotube plugin)? I have tried the plugin on 2 sites (one on marketing, another on electronic equipment) but have not managed to receive any articles even after more than 48 hours. (Pressing the "Update & Test" button results in a test article being posted, so that part seems to work. I even get the article approval request email for the test article).

2) The Platinum SEO plugin: There are 2 screenshots in the plugin. Should we tweak them as per the screenshots? (did you include the screenshots :) or were they part of the plugin?)

a) Screenshot 1 (Post/Page level meta tag options): Seems to show what we need to enter when we create new "Pages". Should we even follow what the screenshots show, please?
i.e.,
i) In the title area, screenshot1 shows that we are supposed to post Title: META Robots Tag (XXXX, YYYY, ZZZZ etc.) - I think the XXX, YYY , ZZZ are supposed to be the keywords? Or should we simply add an appropriate title with the keyword phrase for our page (like we normally might do)?

ii) In the keywords area, screenshot1 shows that we are supposed to post 2. Platinum SEO Plugin, META Robots, Index, Follow, NoIndex, NoFollow. So should we simply post our own keywords or keyword phrases here?

b) Screenshot 2 (General options in Platinum SEO Plugin): Should we just check that the boxes shown in the screenshot are checked?

3) Last question is on having the tag cloud in the WP blog: I have actually set the tag widget to show in the sidebar from within the WP admin area. However, for the 2 different themes that I am testing this on, the tag cloud does not seem to show at all. What might I be doing wrong, please ?

Sorry for the bother, Shylesson :o I have worked with other WP plugins before but there are always new stuff to learn and I know small tweaks can sometimes make the biggest difference.

Please do explain a little more, when you get a chance, ok? :)

Of course, other folks who are experimenting with this or who know the answer, please also share your thoughts.

I just want to let everyone know this method does work. Especially if you research your adsense niches and create a good keyword rich domain name. Its almost impossible not to make atleast $1 a day per blog after your first week.

It knows because you choose the category at the bottom of the setup page.

Cool, thanks :) So I'll need to have created some categories to help the UAW plugin with pulling articles. This I've done for the test websites.

Still not getting articles on these sites though :o

Wondering why...heh....and nope, the niches are not obscure niches.

how are you able to omit "Posted by Admin"? This may be a silly question, but have run myself ragged looking for settings not to post this info. It looks kind of fishy if all your original "seed posts" show they are from the same person.

Are you guys finding that running blogs in subdomains or directories from a main site hurts the performance any?

I think you have to change that on your wp settings, that has nothing to do with the plugins... i think the option is on your settings page, something like changing your username/display name or something

Thanks, you are correct I have been able to change admin to a "nickname" via settings/users but I really like not to display this info at all, like in the example.

I will continue looking, it is prolly hiding right in front of me!

Hey man! Glad I helped.

Well for the plugin, make sure we read the readme file for setting up the correct permissions on the files. Also you have to give it time... For me, it started posting after several hours.
