^ I agree with the above. 200 uniques a day should net you around $3-5 per day per blog if your optimizing things correctly. Even a small increase like that can make a BIG difference to your overall earnings. You could get paid basically 3-5 times more for the same site and the same content.

You can also add kontera or other in-text advertising to further monetise your autoblogs and get more "bang for your buck".

Also try to optimize your adsense placements and make them appear above the fold. You've got a good idea (that I've tried before) but your leaving alot of money on the table by the looks of things. You should be maxing the hell outta that traffic.

Yep you should be able to make a few more dollars a day. I think you should put an adsense optimised theme on your blog this should improve your clickthrough rate.

If you want to take this one set further what I do is install Wordpress MU so you can have subdomains for nichies. Break it down and use this plugin to build a mass subdomain auto blog. I know with Hostgator on a reseller account you need to ask them to set the wildcard DNS for you. But then upload this badboy a boom! Get as many sub domains as you want.

That is an awsome idea you can see in my sig the domain I am actually using it on . So if this actually works I can create hundreds of diffrent subdomains (I can do this on my hosting acc) for sub niches inside my nich (or to pick up long tailed keywords) And than BOOM baby ...

Make sure you get the google sitemap generator for wordpress mu. Do a search for it since I can't find the link right now or PM me and I'll put it up on Rapidshare for you. You want to get indexed as fast as possible. Sub's are going to take awhile and also in google webmaster have it search for the sitemap.xml.gz file instead of the sitemap.xml it works better for some reason. Sub's are a really cool way to gain more and more traffic. Make sure to interlink.

Thanks very useful info . This I think will take alot of work to do but sounds like a great idea and I am immediately going to start implementing it .

For the site map I want to wait till i Get everything up first and am satisfied it is getting enough visitors first right?

This is probably one of the best information I have ever discovered here.

As this is not really blackhat deals with what I am into . Very easy to implement . Almost auto pilot when you get everything set up . What could be better?

@ gee: those comments come from the wpyoutube plugin-- it uploads the youtube videos along with the comments from it

@ steve: I just ftp the stuff. for these blogs, I don't have any need to maintain them so no need to have a central unit to which to control them from but if I wanted to, I would add them to BlogSlammer! as it stores all the login info and will let me post to all the blogs at once.

@assist: the plugins i zipped up in post #8

@valw: I go to the uberarticles directory and look at their category structure and use keywords based off of it. If they are not there, I use another autoposter, but I like that UAW posts the articles as 'unique' on my site. And I've found it takes 24-48 hours sometimes to start posting.

@ charles: of course, that is why i was telling everyone what they could to in order to better monetize their blogs. I do not put the adsense on my homepages, I do not put them in the sidebars, i do not put it in the headers. I put them within the posts only. That's it. so that is why I am not earning at optimal level. But I still wanted the blogs to look natural so that google still loves me and the people stay longer. =P

I started these as just a 'let's see if it works' type of deal. But as I said before, I also only put 2 units per post-- you could all put 3 units per post-- heck even big blocks, i said i only use the small ones [true]. I tell you the truth-- I did not set these blogs up with optimal earning in mind. I set them up with longevity and look in mind.

Great info share shylesson. How much are you getting now per blog, from Adsense alone? Have you tried BSol as well? It works wonder for me, although haven't really monitized by single blog site yet.

@great--still $1/day....I don't really want to change my blogs into MFA blogs so I haven't optimized them [gone ad crazy], but I'm good with $1/day per blog because it's passive income anyhow.

Even though I like to think I'm a pretty smart "Think for myself" guy, I always lenjoy these "step by step" threads.

It's an average, but it hovers around 170-250 a day per blog. And I only recently started adding the video poster and that has made a great difference in traffic too so I would really suggest using it in conjunction with an article autoposter [if you prefer not to use UAW] as well.

I love what you have shared it and I have already put in place your suggestions.

I think I am going to buy the elite version of WP videotube since I believe it is a great piece of software.

Along with the plugins you have suggested I would add caffeinated content which is pretty good on grabbing content strictly related to your keywords.

Now I will wait for some results. Looking forward to report a success story.

I second the caffeinated content plugin, it is great for getting keyword related content for your site.

Cafeinated Content pulls videos from YT as does the WP vid plugin.
What I don't like about the Wp vid plugin is that all the comments for the vids are set on the same date and time. Kinda blows the organic growth impression.

Any reason why you would use the WP vid plugin instead of CafContent for the YT vids?
