Autoblogs= $$$

Hostgator is the best hosting for autoblog :)

What kind of hosting is ideal for autoblogging? I currently have the $15 a month option (not sure what exactly it's called), but have seen a lot of people recommending VPS hosting.

is the site that *womensshoeparadise*com banned for doing autoblog? I have a site to test and just follow the instruction given.. gotta wait for 24-48 hrs before it start posting.. It's not an auto before.. $1/day is better than none..

i have created my 40 blogs so far it's more than 15 days, but no clicks yet? how many days more i have to wait to see 1st ever click :D

I've found that supplementing a new blog site with backlinks from multiple sources - a few articles, some profile links, some blog comments, some bookmarks - not only gets it indexed faster, but also makes it more likely to stay in the index. I've been revisiting a few of my more popular sites at least once a month, and spend an hour or so adding a few more backlinks.
So far they're still indexed, and while they're not making earth shattering amounts of cash, every little helps.

from what I remember, WP-o-matic scrapes and posts like a madman...pissing off whomever your hosted with.

I therefore conclude that WP-o-matic is one bad plugin

I used wp-o-matic for a little bit. I made a list of a lot of rss feeds related to the content on my site and then put them in wp-o-matic. wp-o-matic grabbed the articles like it was supposed to... but it also grabbed the article's related posts on the original site and it also put in a lot of broken images so all of my posts looked like shit. Maybe there's something that I didn't do to prevent that, but I wasn't impressed. Trying out UAW now. We'll see how that goes.

So UAW finally started posting articles to my site after 4 days and it is posting some REALLY shitty stuff. None of the posts are more than 3 sentances and my categories are all jacked up.. maybe they are too broad. Pretty lame.

re: the minimum plugins that are listed ( for dl from RS ) on page one...will these work efficiently with ( whatever ) the current version of WP...or is it recommended to find a later more current/uP to date plugs to use...

Hello, I run a blog and I would like to know if there?s an option for the Platinum SEO plugin in order to have some ?default? options for keywords, tittle and description pre-added.

I use feedwordpress for rss sindication and I would like this option so I don?t have to go to edit each post in order to add the (keywords+tittle+description) for each post. How do you guys do this?

Thanks a lot!

i want to start my autoblog. what hosting that the best for autoblog?

A VPS. Hosts tend to get angry when you start scraping a lot - and with a VPS your on your own so there is no reason for them to get angry at you.

I use the minimal plan at 1and1 and it works perfectly (256MB RAM) with ~20 autoblogs running.

Even though this thread was posted a couple years ago the information is still solid.

It's a testament to the OP that the blogs he first listed as examples are still up and running. It's obvious G00gle loves the sites based on how many pages are indexed.

I would love for the OP to give an update on his earnings. Originally he said up to $1 a day. I'm sure these are doing better by now.

If you wish to use AdSense for a cluster of AutoBlogs, is it recommended that you have multiple AdSense accounts, or could you just use the same account for as many websites you have?

Minimum plugins for me

Akismet - Enter your API key to activate this plugin. This plugin will help prevent comment spam.
Adsense Manager - This is my favorite advertising plugin. This plugin will place your ads randomly throughout your posts. Simply add your publisher ID and change the ad colors.
Advertising Manager - Here's another great advertising plugin. With this plugin you can setup a wide selection of ads including random CPA offers. Once you've created an ad, view your widgets panel and drag the ad to your sidebar.
Easy Privacy Policy - This Privacy Policy is great to protect your site, looks professional, and it includes information that Adsense requires.
Global Translator - Your visitors can be from any country. I always include this plugin on my sidebar. You can translate your entire site into another language with this plugin.
Google XML Sitemaps - This plugin will help with Google indexing. It's a map of your site. This plugin is a must.
Kontera ContentLink - Another great way to earn revenue is by turning random words throughout your articles into advertisements. This plugin does just that. Sign up with Kontera and enter your publisher ID in the Kontera settings.
MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer - This plugin is a great way to spread your site amongst the internet. The more backlinks you create the better your search engine rankings will be. Run a search and look for a list of popular websites to ping.
WP OnlyWire Auto Poster - This program has made a huge difference with backlinks. You can use onlywire to send your posts to 30 different social networks. This has created many backlinks for me and has helped tremendously with backlinking.
Platinum SEO Pack - This plugin is another must. This plugin will allow you to create META tags to help with search engine indexing. Be sure to select appropriate keywords and a keyword rich description.
SEO Smart Links - This program will turn random words throughout your articles into links to other articles on your blog. You can also setup specific words to link to offers or other revenue generating services. For example, if you have an iPad blog, you may want to link the word "iPad" to an email submit for a free iPad.
SEO Super Comments - This program will generate extra pages for each comment. Users will have another page with all of their comments. This will give you more pages for search engine indexing.

WP Robot - This is one of your most important plugins

Thank you for this motivation, as i'm a newbie. And I still haven't start my first autoblog, I'm still struggling with the right keywords. I'm very insecure in what niche I should start.

Thank you for this motivation, as i'm a newbie. And I still haven't start my first autoblog, I'm still struggling with the right keywords. I'm very insecure in what niche I should start.

I got paralyzed with information overload. Then I decided to say screw it and just try something. I picked six different niches and bought six .info domains and have been building them out over the past three weeks.

So far, I've earned a whopping $0.29 cents. In my mind that's freaking great. Because before I got off my rear, I hadn't earned jack.

I'm using most of the plug ins recommended in earlier posts and WP Robot. I'm also teaching myself how to judiciously use Scrapebox and build up some backlinks. Right now, most of my traffic is from Twitter, but I am starting to see some organic traffic. Each day gets better and more traffic. And each day I learn something I didn't know before, usually the hard way. Now I'm ready to order more domains and make more blogs.

I have a few autoblogs...because I like them. I have one that I set up one day and have done no promotion with. It auto posts articles and youtube videos and I am steadily increasing in organic traffic each month. It's been up for about 4 months and now up to 200 uniques a day. Not bad for no promotion whatsoever. So I thought I'd let ya'll know what I use for plugins and you can add your better ones and even better theme. I get clicks daily and I'm not even using a adsense optimized theme [I want my blogs to look natural enough and not clouded to the extreme with adsense] so i'm sure you guys can do better. I'm averaging 50c-$1 a day per blog after about 2 months of letting them sit so I'm sure you can get better if you start promoting right away.

I use the unique article wizard plugin for posting articles, but for more obscure niches, you are going to want a different autoposter as this I have noticed is only best for popular/broad niches. I use the wpyoutube plugin [the free version as each blog is a mix, and not strictly a video blog] to post youtube videos automatically. I use the Platinum SEO plugin and load my keywords that I pruned from Keyword Elite into it along with a keyword rich title and description. I use the YPN-Adsense plugin to automatically add adsense to my posts in random spots so the people do not become ad blind to my ads =P.

On some of my blogs I use more plugins while on others these are the only ones I use. I don't show ads on my homepages for any of these blogs and I still get clicks within the posts. Perhaps I would get more if I put them on my homepage, but again, I like to keep the blogs halfway decent like so people stay on them longer.

I do no promotion whatsoever with these blogs. I don't even put their links in my sigs or do bookmarkings...nothing. I have it now where I can set up one of these blogs in an hour or less and forget about them. Autoblogs are great for adsense earnings because they do all the work for you once you put the initial effort in. $30/month per blog is not bad either for no promotion.

Just thought I'd let some of those people having trouble with 'direction' for their autoblogs. =D

thank you shylesson all credit goes to you.
I have done lot of work with autoblogs
gained confidence after some failures

Today i read somewhere that installing google analytics will cause google ban.. adsense ban?

If its true then how do you track your autoblogs.

Shylesson your opinion on this will be more convincing.

Hi thanks
I have two plugins
1) quick adsense it brought me few clicks not big money but yes i noticed some activity
2) rss footer which adds your links at the end of each post in rss so if someone picks your rss then also links you back.

I am looking for a good tags plugin I am using wordpres 2.8.3
so SImple tags wont go.

from your lot I will also pick seo smart links it is another essential plugin

now how do you guys track visitors on your site?

@All autoblogs is no rocket science

1) you need a website / market
2) you need content
3) you need traffic ( twitter + facebook + search engine)
4) you make money

wordpress + autoblogs + plugins can solve your content and traffic
we need to take first step, 2nd is handled by autoblogs, 3 rd you need to do some hardwork ( if you are willing to) + some plugins will do
this.
thats all we need to do. is it difficult?

I would suggest not using Google analytics, doing youtube trolling or anything related to Google properties that could be linked somehow to your adsense account or site. G. loves to abuse their power. Don't use G. analytics under any circumstance nor listen to those that say "it won't affect your rankings". I have proven myself more than once using G. analytics on sites with certain bouncing rates can get your rankings dropped. Don't give bullets to the enemy! Be safe. Google doesn't provide free services because of their pretty faces and good hearts. They will use that data against you whenever they can.

So do you ever use any analytics? Statcounter or something? Or do you just let it fly and not worry about tracking traffic?

seems like finding a niche is the hardest part, and after that its all basically just a waiting game.

anyone host this kinda stuff on their own server?

seems like finding a niche is the hardest part..

I can usually think of 1/2 a dozen blog themes (niches) on my daily commute to work. When I get home I do some KW research and usually find a couple out of the 6 I want to try.

The key imo is to not over complicate things. Think outside the box as to what a "niche" is. My most successful blogs are on subjects with a lot of competition but I'm still making some money.

If I can make $1K/month after 3 months believe me anyone can. :)
