About a year ago I started 10 autoblogs. Have never done any SEO on them, only linked them to a twitter account and added followers. After a while I was at about $100 a month but then got bored with them as it was alot of work adding followers etc... to every account.

So stopped them, some got banned from the shared hosting for using too many resources. This was my first time so you live and you learn.

Anyway a year on 1 of the autoblogs is going strong without any help from me. It's getting around 1000 hits a day and earning about $10 a day from adsense. Amazing considering I have done no SEO work on it at all.

Lesson from all of this? Patience is a virtue. Plan for the long-term and not just short-term gains!

mind if i ask if it was adsence or. . . something else? not sure how many to run with one advertiser

$70 a week. Is that off one autoblog or like 10 blogs?

How many clicks get of 1000 hits to make 10$ ?

I've been thinking about getting into autoblogs. Any good tool/plugin recomendations? Do they typically spin the articles? Any that can spin into fairly human-readable text?

Anyway a year on 1 of the autoblogs

its about time i think
theres no instan on building autoblog or even blog

congrats, sounds like you found a nice niche. I can build them, cant seem to find good niches

What theme are you using ?

Well I like to use a theme that fits the blog niche, the blog is a health blog so used a health blog theme. Don't want to give it away incase another blog shows up exactly the same lol.

I didn't have much success with ones like heatmap, you know the awful looking adsense ones. When I had the other autoblogs going when I started out I spent a bit of time making them look good etc... seemed to give better results! :)

I use WP-Robot myself but that was a while a go, not sure if there are better ones out there now!

Autoblogging is awesome. I have written some custom plugins for wordpress that help me out with my sites. I have a custom autoblogging plugin, an article rewriter plugin, an seo plugin, and a auto tagging plugin. I have released a couple of them but not my autoblogging one yet.

I make about $250 a day from 10 autoblogs. It took a few months to get to that point though. For the first couple months it was like $1 to $5 a day. Then after the third and fourth month it jumped a lot more, and now it's doing really good.

Patience is your main virtue when working with autoblogs.

Some questions that will help the beginers narrow down what they must do:

Question 1: Is your traffic from Twitter or is it organic? Both?

Question 2: How many posts per day are you doing on your blog?

Question 3: What made you choose that niche? I realize autoblogs are considerably different than micro niche static sites. Was it high cpc, high searches, low competition, high competition?
