Recently I understood that creating auto blogs is pretty easy. I have some interesting niches in mind and I would like to aim for less autoblogs but of higher quality other than 1000x shitty autoblogs. However before I set out to this interesting venture, I would like to know what tips do you recommend for autoblogs, when creating them for long term automated income?

I will thank any good tips and give rep of course :)

Hmm, is there a way to make it auto-ping itself? I have some ideas on how I could promote this blog initially, but I would like to set it up so eventually it runs by itself and I do not need to touch it at all.

Yes there is a way of auto-pinging I don't remember but I guess there was a plugin for that, it pinged a list of sites everytime for a new post.

Also you might find autosocialposter plugin usefull it bookmarks a list of sites automaticaly for every new post.

you just have to update your ping list within wp-admin and add additional ping sites.

good thing to remember for long term autoblogging is to not include ad$sen$e on the homepage, and in the post itself. Maybe have a few banner ads along with your contextual ads that are inside the post content.

Also a long term blog shouldn't post more than 3-4 times a day. Try to randomize it.

Don't just keep posting about the same keywords, but try to go extreme long tail if that makes any sense.

How extreme is extreme for long tails??

Also why no adse*nse on the homepage??
(I'm going "oh shit" I have it on all my homepages)

LHaskins, it's just for longevity.. just makes your blog look less like an autoblog with no ad$ense on the homepage, plus not many people will be on it anyways if they get there from SE keywords.

extreme longtail is like 5 or more words or phrases.. the current mainstream tools aren't that great at it.

Alright, I have Caffeneited Content and all the necessary plugins, but I still do not know what to do with the duplicate content issue. If my whole blog will consist of tons of duplicate content from all over the web, won't my wordpress be sandboxed? How do you go around this?

For autopinging, Wordpress has something built in. However I came across MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer which is supposedly better. I haven't set it up yet, but it might be something you wanna check out.

I have a few auto blogs with CC-powered dupe content and they're still sandboxed and not indexed. But as autoblogs go, things might change over time... they are not exactly stable web properties.

You can always put the articles you get through a rewriter/spinner program and throw in some completely unique pieces if that concerns you.

Doing 1000 autoblogs With no index in Search Engine
You are wasting time
Doing 10 autoblogs which you can have time to promote them
with three months got PR 3 You monetize by advertising

Yap you got what i mean ^^

It's hard to know what to believe in regards to duplicate content, I used a rewrite plugin for awhile, but the content still read like it was written by a 2 yrd old with no arms, so I got rid of it.

A lot of people think duplicate content penalty is a myth, but there are plenty more that think it isn't.. tough to decide, I went with the myth theory...

dupe content IS a myth. Just look at all the PR 4 and PR 5 article directories out there.. all dupe content yet they still rank for long tails..

I'm not sure what the right answer is as far as duplicate content. I've got sites that index really well, and stay that way. And I've got sites that get sandboxed almost immediately. I use articles that I've got PLR on, which means everyone and their damn dog are using them. I don't spin them, rewrite them, anything. I just toss them on the site, and press on.

Who knows?

MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer is a very useful tool. Once you install it, simply update the ping list in Settings > MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer. You should also use the time-out option so it doesn't ping too often between new posts, especially if updating/editing your blog by hand.

So basically once I get my blog indexed, I can just leave it and let it run on it's own?

Yep but it won't be easy for each blog to be index but for sure
quick or late it will be indexed
google love contents but you won't rank
run PRSTROM to help
or RSS submit
hehe
