I wish I would have read this before I started mine. I came up with almost the exact same method. I tried other programs, but they didn't work for me. First in the wp blog when you install it pick the option to not notify search engines, and make a robots text so it doesn't get indexed. Then make one category in the wp blog for each blogger site. Then in the wp blog pull the articles, feeds, or whatever for each category for months to come. I did 3 months. Set up your blogger blogs. Then I use a wp plugin called sendfeed, I don't use feedburner or feed my inbox because they put extra stuff in the posts, sendfeed doesn't. I think I found it here. In sendfeed set up a feed from each category to its corresponding blogger email. The category feed url looks like this:
hxxp://yourdomain.com/category/each_blogger_category/feed
Activate it and your done. It takes like 10 minutes to pull articles for each of your blogger blogs, and I'll have to update it every 3 months or so. I just built 2 today and tested it. It works great. You can use one wp blog to feed as many blogger blogs as you want. Don't use x10 host, I still can't get it to work, 000webhost works ok.
