i think one of the biggest autoblogging misconceptions out there is that your autoblog has to post content ever day for you to see traffic.

i've had autoblogs that i've been running since july 09 that haven't been updated w/any content....and i see increases in traffic and increases in pr.

The main difference with me....is that when i scrape content initially, i rewrite the articles so they seem 'unique'. For example, i'll scrape 10-20 ezine articles and re write them to my niche or product i'm promoting.

I also remove any date on my wp template (so that if a visitor sees my page, they won't see 10-20 posts posted on the same day :D)

the way i see it, while i am running auto blogs...i don't wanna have auto crap on the pages either (i'm not running autoblogs for adsense...but to promote cpa/affiliate products...I want to make sure the content I scrape does not have links that leave my page, are rewritten to give my site relevance for the keyword(s) i'm trying to rank for, and that it's not talking bad about the product i'm trying to promote.

I also take the time to edit comments (from yahoo answer scrapes) to take out links/resources/spam...etc

It's not really 'auto' blogging I guess....more like semi auto in that there is some work involved on my part...but my blogs rank well in the end for the keywords i'm going after...and that's all that matters, imo

I use a plugin called wp unique. Its suppose to make existing articles unique. I don't know how to test it to see if it does what it says it suppose to do. It does have a spin feature.

yeah, but how is the plugin going to rewrite the article to give emphasis to the product you're promoting?

imo, re writing doesn't mean re writing the entire article, imo...you can add a sentence, paraphrase an paragraph, remove a sentence....

    for example

    re written article

you can do this with ANY article found on ezine...or any yahoo answers scrape...re writing comments as the blog post...

    example

    re written post:

i just made this up on the fly.....but you see my point....scrape your articles but don't publish them until you have the opportunity to tweak it to benefit your ab :)
