Autoblogging for control freaks?

Hey everyone.
I finally set up my first autoblog, however I don't trust the thing. I don't have it set to post automatically. Instead, it posts to drafts, and then I go through, edit the draft, add tags and SEO, and THEN I post.

Does anyone else do similar? Am I wasting my time by customizing each post?

No, that is actually preferred in my honest opinion. If you have the time, even rewrite the whole article to make it unique - but if not, adding proper tags and fixing any unwanted links, typos or errors is great for your blog. This can only help your situation, not hurt it.
 
what if you don't have time to rewrite the post can you just added to you blog remove the links and give credit to the person who wrote it? or will that hurt your ranking.

I'd suggest to use the synonymizer and mix your posts with some related content (e.g. from digg.com). Make sure to generate some relevant "comments" etc (actally there are too many various ways to make your content unique) All these tasks must be done automatically, so you can run as many autoblogs as you want (100, or even 1000) without spending your priceless time to manually modify every post.
 
Guys whats the best autoblog plugin for wordpress?

I'm only wanting it to be used on some sites made to look good not money sites.

There is no best. There are:

  1. Free plugins (e.g. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cybersyn/)
  2. Premium plugins for newbies (e.g. http://wprobot.net/)
  3. Professional ones (e.g. http://www.cyberseo.net/)

Owt that actually makes a site look good as in grabbing images and posts daily... only need it to update once a day but i don't want to touch that site ever again... just so it looks like a respectable site.

Don't need it to earn anything, just wanting to look the part.

In such a case you can use ANY type of autoblogging software. I would recommend you freeware (if you don't want to earn anything, why spending money on commercial software?)
