For those who are experienced with autoblogging: What are the best practices for autoblogging, when it comes to generating organic traffic? (not counting keyword selection)

    For instance -

    • How many initial posts should one add prior to launching? e.g. 10, 50, etc.
    • What range should the number of posts per day fall between? e.g. 2-5, 5-10, etc.
    • Does it make any difference whether you backdate the initial posts or not?
If anyone has anything else they'd like to mention as being particularly effective or important from their experience, feel free to chime in :)

Yes I was going to say "excluding link building" as well as excluding keyword/niche selection - both of those are a given and more important than anything else:) But I thought perhaps someone would have advice on a particular plugin or something like that which might help build links.

Are you talking about auto generated links? Because this is what autoblog is all about. Set and forget :)

From my experience it does no harm backdating some posts. In fact its probably a good thing as it can instantly make your site look established. I personally prefer the 2-5 posts per day range. Any more than that just stinks of autoblog, and I think it is good to try and look like your giving the personal touch.

As with any site or blog, getting backlinks is important for generating traffic - the content may be automatically taken care of but the marketing isn't!

I backdate some posts, I have an initial 10-20 posted with an average of 2 per day. Then I run the rapid indexer of scrapebox and then I just set my wp-robot to 4-6 posts per day.
After that I do about 10 links a day for a week and then scale it up a bit.
