Which of the 2 would you guys recommend using? I've read and heard mixed reviews of both on other sites, would be good to get some input from members here.

I am also interested in this. I know there is a ton of talk on hear about how good wp-robot is and that is what i am leaning to, but it would be really nice for some side by side on what each is better at.

Well, first off they're actually aimed at something similar but not identical.

Both scrape content from 3-party sites but WPRobot can do it from a way larger number of sources and works directly as a WP plugin, server-side. Conversely AS is a desktop app and supports Blogger and blogs on WP.com (ie: yourblog.wordpress.com) making it the perfect tool to automate FREE autoblogs. You'll actually need both if you want to create autoblogs both on purchased domains (WPRobot) AND free platforms (AS). HTH

P.S. If you enable XML-RPC AS will be able to post on standard WP blogs (those on your domains, not the free ones) too...

I agree with sirgold, they both do similar but complimentary jobs, you do really need both

WP-Robot works like a charm. I've read in reviews that the uniquifying functionality of abs doesn't work but you can use other plug-ins for that.

ABS is simply an desktop application which feeds the content to blogs, while wp-robot can feed the contents as well as the different products from affiliate website like amazon, ebay etc. depending on your niche.

You may use any one of them... Wp-robot is better option if you have paid wordpress hosting else you can use ABS which even works with blogger.com which is free.

what about the auto blogging desktop app??

What plugins can I use with Auto Blog Samurai? I've been long hunting down something that would be compatible with it.

I wish the nulled WP robot would have a working The Best Spinner. I haven't tried it but since it asks for an API key, I assume it won't work.
