    Okay
i know people will have different opinions but i need some of your ideas on good plugins for auto blogs (generalized).....

so far in my list i have
    caffinated content (of course)
    all in one seo pack
    google analyticator (pritty cool extra)
    Google XML Sitemaps
Ping Crawl (now this is a gem)
    seo smart links
stat press reloaded (just another stat plugin which is good for noobs)

now i am wondering what else there is to get organic traffic.... better seo rankings.... or just a better general autoblog.

    Oh and i also use
social bookmarks (but there might be a better one around and about instead if you have any suggestions as this one is pritty big space taker).

edit: this is for my blog and for other people to use and buy etc.....

Alot of people ask about the plugins
I don't know if you already got this part in your autoblog project but the most important part of an autoblog is NOT the plugins.
The most important part is the niche. You need to find low competiting keywords with a good number of searches. Thats the key.

I just wanted to clarify cause it was an error I made when starting autoblogs.
I advise you the privacy plugin in case you use adsense. This will help you not to get banned by adsense.

    i like cafinated content

i like rss2blog...it's not a plug in...(i wish it was)

how hard would it be to convert rss2blog to a wp plugin? I mean, of all the autobloging/content creation software, i think rss2blog is the best. but it seems like development stopped for it 5 years ago...

how hard would it be to convert this script to a plugin?

This is the setup I use, I think it gets the best results of everything I've ever tried.

NIMS script (of course--but anything that pulls good quality content should be okay)
    all in one SEO pack
    Google XML sitemap
    WP Tags to Technorati
    auto social poster
    related posts plugin

I'd also add that in my opinion its more important to be pulling in quality content and pinging out to a good list of sites than to be using the "perfect" plugins arrangement.

With pinging you need to be attracting bots ASAP after each posting, and with quality content you give them something to feed on while they're there, which they thank you for with quick and good indexing.

EDIT TO ADD: I just realized I left out the related posts plugin, and I really think that one helps big time for on-site boosting, especially for older posts that get linked to from a new posting. Its a way to keep those older posts active.

plugins that will help with traffic. i use the twitter plugin that updates twitter and then the twitter sites that update off twitters are alerted too so I get traffic via twitter and those said sites. autosocial poster for bookmarking. global translator. you are right ping crawl rocks [a plugin i did not include on a list i made ;)], but i also have the MBP Ping Optimizer which will regulate the number of pings your autoblogs make so you are not pinging too often. People will recommend [and i use on some of mine] a rewriter plugin, but i have many without it and they do just fine. I like WPAnswers better than CC only because I can just set it and really forget it as opposed to having to run keywords to find x-amount of content or uploading files of articles [which is still a set number]. I also use the WPVideoTube plugin as I have found that videos attract a lot of visitors. But I mix content with videos as the all-video sites have never done well for me. There are a couple more I use that are not mentioned in my post either but I have to jet for a few--those should be good for now anyhow~
