Hi,
I had some auto blogs which are self hosted WordPress blog and they are yahoo answers autoblog i am using wprobot (Paid) plugin. I am having very good traffic and earn good as well but after last panda update suddenly all blogs traffic get down together and now pages are getting if check in webmaster tool but traffic got down about 80%. I don't know what happen if anyone can help me and advise so i can get my auto-blogs ranking back so plz help me out i had created some more auto-blogs as well but same prob with do you think that this is the end of auto-blog and they are dead or just yahoo answer blogs are not working ?

Even when they're spun correctly, G has got very clever at recognizing junk sites. Using software like you are leaves all kinds of coding fingerprints.

Plus, Panda slapped a lot of different middle-man sites.
 
The days of autoblogs are over. If you own one and still earning, prepare for doom! :D

Course not! Autoblogging just got a second wind these days. Panda is killing lame competing autoblogs like a dead machine, so the properly done autoblogs are getting more traffic.

I'm new to autoblogs so I'm no expert but I set up 2 last month. The more successful one has made $25.34 so far this month from 14 items sold on Amazon. I'm happy with that and will certainly be setting up more. They're only dead if you are lazy with them.

Keyword targeted content + backlinks = money

Fair point... But the vast majority of auto-blogs are very low quality, and they do leave coding fingerprints which are getting easier for G to spot. The future is only going to get tougher!

Who told you that? get rid of the wp-robot type plugins and use original un-spun content and you will be fine. I have no problems at all and I'm on the up and up.

Because their owners:

  1. use wrong autoblogging software (premium doesn't mean professional, easy to set up/use doesn't mean high quality result etc...);
  2. do not spin the aggregated content;
  3. have no creative mind to make their autoblogs to look like really unique and quality resources (you have to give something really interesting to the surfers);
  4. are just too lazy, or they know nothing about SEO basics.
99% of so-called "autobloggers" are using the following algorithm:
  1. Go to some webmaster board and ask "what's the BEST autoblogging software?"
  2. Buy or (much often) download the nulled version of suggested software (the same script that is being used by 1000's of other "autobloggers" already).
  3. Setup a few-click company (do the same thing as 1000's of others already did) and generate the "blog" which is just a copy of 1000's ones that were already done by others using the same "easy way".
  4. Buy some links or pay the money to some SEO "guru" who promised to make the blog #1 in Google SERP's.
  5. Waiting for the money.
These splogs are doomed from the beginning and their owners will never make a bank with such an attitude.

That's just my 2 cents.
 
autoblogs are really slow earners but not yet dead. people are still owning hundreds of them. and don't forget the link juice you could have from them for your money site.
 
Autoblogs are not dead, I know that because I make a living partly from autoblogs. Search engines don't know if your site is an autoblog if your site is set up in a right way.

I would say many autoblogs have problems, but that's just an opportunity for you to outrank the bad ones. :)
 
DO you all think that yahoo answer autoblog are worthless and blog with complete are good ? and do you think that amazon and clickbank sites autoblog are good do you think people do shop from these type of autoblog ? if yes anyone who can help me to setup an amazon and CB auto-blog because i don't have any idea about them
 
Autoblogs are definitely not dead if done properly. Though I go for quantity rather than top quality. Have them all, otobse!
 
noticed that google will slap sites that are way too common, if you have autoblogs about insurance or health, they will BURN, but if you have autoblogs about picking your nose and making nice booger statuets, you wont suffer :)
 
I seriously love these conversations because they remove tons of competition from the space. I have been testing autoblogs for two months now. I set up three. One with articles only, another that was videos only, and the last one with videos and articles.

While I won't tell you which one tested better I will tell you that is well worth it. Now I must say that I am not using these autoblogs to generate income. I am using them to generate leads for my squeeze page so that I can get their email address and then put them in an email sequence to purchase my products.

I now have 15 autoblogs set up and I am adding one each week to the network. All of them are interlinked and have all the needed plugins.

As a side note I have notice that the Big G is loving my ABs more after I added a privacy page.
 
Anymore update, suggestion and advices so i can make my ABs more better so i can get some traffic and $$$
 
I have auto-blogs that are still bringing in money. Not like they were in 2010, but they still bring in money. Although I must admit, i'm in the process of turning a lot of them into 'good content sites'.
 
all my blogs with wprobot are getting good traffic for max 3, 4 weeks and after that they are dyeing as well.
any good news for us?
 
The have been killed by Google panda. To fix:
Auto spin at 80% or more even if it makes no sense and SEO for Yahoo/bing
