Hello you keep saying that but I have the lastest update because it hasn't said anything about needing to update .If you would at least program a version number in it so everyone can see the version.

Also program a update button so we so not have to uninstall old and install new ...

Yes, it definetely has a version in the title, V3 as well

Old one said "AutoStumble v2' in the title bar, this one says "AutoStumble v3" - if it's version 3 it will also have the news pane to the right, which makes the program twice as wide as the old v2 program was.

Maybe this guy doesn't have AutoStumble and he has a different StumbleUpon automator?

if your url gets banned couldnt you make some free blogspots with meta-refreshes to your money sites?

I purchased this program, it did not work at all for me. Seller refused to issue a refund, and belittled my content. Then has the audacity to call me rude. Also, Mark contends that I have no idea how to work Stumbleupon. Well....I have the stats to show over 100k unique hits from stumble in months prior, so I know this not to be the case. This program never worked for me and I find the response from Mark to be absurd.

My response to this....

Firstly, as is clearly evident by the rest of the posts in this forum, AutoStumble, does of course, work. I have gone to great lengths, like a lot of software retailers, to provide support on multiple forums, as well as e-mail - every single day.

The fact you say, I "belittled" your content.. Dude, I was try to HELP YOU. Your definition of "the program not working at all" is that your URL did not go viral. I'm not sure how you class a YouTube video as "your content", but if you're going to post YouTube videos that everyone has seen before, then at least pick a good one...

By the way, that is how I belittled his content. I simply said "perhaps it's because that video is about the least funny thing I've ever seen". If you want videos to go viral, perhaps look at the Digg upcoming list and post one of them?

I've issued 2 refunds since I launched AutoStumble. Both, were because I was having trouble with PayPals IPN. In both cases, I gave the users a full refund AND let them have access to AutoStumble regardless.

No, I did not give this user a refund, even though he wasn't happy. Why? Because quite frankly when I try and send e-mails to help you and you respond with "refund or dispute - your choice", then you're being an asshat.

He is clearly just annoyed because PayPal found in my favour and his dispute was quashed for the BS it was.

If for whatever reason, you aren't happy, and you're polite - I will of course give a refund - or support, whichever you prefer.

The fact is, lots of people have had great success with AutoStumble, but you do need the right type of content to back it up. I did try and explain this to this guy, and that he was trying ot use the app, right in the gap of people updating to the new version - but hey, you can take a horse to water...

Auto Updatey button coming next version - just hasn't been a priority atm.. Been looking into automatic account creation and URL cycling

reCAPTCHA is well on the way to be beaten!

No, of course not - I want to get AS perfect before I move onto other social networks though....

From own though and user feedback, I eventually want AS to:

* be able to automatically generate SU accounts
* randomly switch between accounts, using proxies
* be able to randomly stumble a bank of URLs
* manage to do the above, while still not giving an obvious footprint.

sound good will try too...

For each blog it varies. If you get a post to go viral on Stumble, as described - I can normally earn between $20-80 for that one post in that day.

Personally, how I did it was automate the setting up and get a decent amount of these blogs going (about 50 or so).

Then spend 1 day doing a viral post on each. Once you get a couple of viral posts, you'll get pretty consistant traffic. So each one gets about 100-300 visitors per day and earns about $5 a day. So, if you do it well (en masse, that's half the point of automation) you can biuld up a couple of hundreds dollars a day.

Yes, there are smarter ways to make money, but I posted it because it's something just about anyone can do.

It's fine as long as you're not just constantly submitting your own sites. If you submit 20 URLs in a day and 1 of yours, nobody will be any the wiser.

Some nice suggestions I read here. Looking forward for them to being implemented.
