Auto-Install WP on Remote Hosts?

I am looking for a good script to auto install wordpress on remote hosts. I am not sure what scripts-preferably php based-will make the task of installing and maintaining wp blogs easy. This should include module management and theme management.

I am all ears for your suggestions. Paid options are fine.

I think if you're on hostgator there is an auto isntall. go into cpanel. other hosts may have the same thing. I think you have to look in fantastico

Most hosts now have Fantastico. As mentioned above. I know one of my hosts Site5.com offers it...

Now if you don't have time to install a bunch of blogs on a hosting account I might be able to help out in exchange for $. All you would have to do is provide me cPanel access and let me know how many blogs you want and stuff like the name should be. Perhaps in an excel file and also what you want username/pass to be. (or i could make it up and put in excel spread sheet)

Installing via Fantastico is easy, but I want to do many blogs and also have 1 location to manage all the various installations. I am aware of some scripting solutions but most seem to only install WP on servers where the app resides.

I want something that can work with remote hosts and handle all management from 1 location.

You don't need any scripts for that.
Fantastico will do it for you.
Only thing you need to concern that when you are purchasing a hosting account, just make sure that it includes fantastico.

oh well, yesterday i know software that you want that can update Cpanel, WP, joomla or wahtever script do you have from single desktop and from different hosting or Cpanel do you have. look like the price is very expensive for me, and currently i don't need it for now.

Everyone else-fantastico can allow for onsey twosey installs, not mass installs. And it can't maintain anything. I am talking about enterprise level WP management here. I don't have time in the day to login to 500 WP accounts to configure stuff individually.

Oh ok, I re-read what you're requiring. I'm actually only using it on a single host (switching over to Hostgator and will be testing it out over the next few days to help setup some domains). It just saves alot of time because you don't have to go and upload your themes/plugins for each domain. I can't really tell you how well it works w/ more than one host. I know it requires cpanel, so that might complicate things with your remote hosts.

Just one thing, do you have a reseller account? If you do and you are using WHM Cpanel you can just upload once all the wordpress installation with your plus and themes to your skel directory then whenever you create a new account through WHM it will automatically copy the files there for you, all that is left todo is create a database and edit config.php. if you want to be even smarter install one default one clean it up so it is ready togo eg remove blogroll delete default post and page and then dump from phpmyadmin then edit sql find and replace with new domain name upload to new created database and bang you have it ready to go. Saves paying for soft...

I have tested the app. I installed it on a dedicated server, no cpanel, and it worked to install wp on a reseller hosting account with cpanel.
