This is a great guide to autoblogging - Once I finish with my other projects, I might just start making a few mini sites/autoblogs....Its about time I get back on the Adsense horse!
 
I did this step for step and quickly had the project running. In less then 12 hours I had someone contact via the comment on wordpress stating that I had copied their material and to remove and they had rights to damages. My question is what's the legality to this? I'm not familiar with autoblogging and getting blogs via rss feeds etc. What is the best method to do this legally if there is such a thing???

Did you scrape or did you just post rss feeds on your site? If you posted rss feeds I don't think they have a case. They'd be providing the rss feeds to the world to use. Did you provide a link to their site in your rss post? They are probably subscribed to Google Alerts.

In any case, just remove it. About the damages send them this: "You can chew the bark off my big fat log". It's only been 12 hours to be whining for damages. Sons of bitches. You tell them! Like the old lady that feeds the crocodile in that crocodile movie: "Look officer fuck meat, if I had a dick, this is where I tell you to suck it". :)

I'm not familiar with the terminology yet, however the method was in WP-o-matic I basically went to plugin, >add campaigns I added a couple of rss feeds from blogs I wanted to leech blogs from and zoom in no time they are on my blog pics and all, very cool and easy!

although i agree with others that you can use their RSS feed (that is what RSS was meant for) as long as you abide to 'fair use' practices, your best bet would be to just remove the content and save yourself a headache.

Also, try staying away from stupid little blogs where the owner takes a bit too much pride in their content, and look for bigger sites. The bigger sites love all the publicity and link juice they can get.

if done right, you can make plenty. you will have to spend some time on finding quality rss feeds in your niche, and customizing your WP theme.

simply putting up a blog with wp-o-matic will not make you rich.

The 'Activate' link under the wp-o-matic plugin in your wordpress plugins page is not a switch to turn on untold riches.

another thing... don't expect to make all your money from just autoblogs. set up a decent website for your niche/product and use a WP plugin like Keyword Link Plugin (hxxp:// www dijksterhuis.org/wordpress-plugins/keyword-link-plugin) to link from your autoblog to your money site with keyword-rich anchor text.

spread your autoblogs across different class c networks and point them to both your CPA offer and your money site.

autoblogs are best used to create link juice for your main money sites, as opposed to being the actual 'storefront' from which you sell your product. in other words, they're optimized for search engines, not for people. your money site should be optimized for both.

And when an aggregator puts up a link to your site, they are doing you a favor by sending you traffic. Not the other way around.

The real problem out there today for news sites are the guys that just take stories and rewrite them on the cheap without any links or attribution at all...

Took a couple hours to go through this process, got everything up and running like should be, baby traffic started rolling in not an hour later. Interesting. I hadn't even looked at my blog other than to see if it worked.

Something that kind of caught my attention were all the damn affiliate links to amazon/networks/etc... Sure sucks all these guys get free advertising on my blog. Course, guess that's what I get for jacking their content/traffic.

Any suggestions on what to do about all the affiliate links?

is that a blogger blog ...does the url make a difference since I see you have your own domain name ?

also are all those categories feed from the autoblog plugin ? those are great and I still want to know more about how the cpa popups work

also when you say dont use the default them ..does that include the optional free choices n blogger ?

This may be a silly question, but I can't find ANY blogs with an RSS feed, I've been using stumblethru Blogspot for the last 15mins and and have got none. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm also finding that after stumbling thru a couple of times, it goes way off topic, like if I'm searching for cars and motoribike blogs only I'll still get really random sites come up about animals or something.

newbie here and ive read thru all the posts here. ive started doing small stuff on my own site, setup wordpress and am still trying to familiarize my way thru everything...

just curious with 3 things...

is reddit still working? a lot of people have been asking as well... i'm trying to build the karms for my first account, and it seems a lot of work for an "auto" blog.:confused:

secondly, if i do setup lots of autoblogs, can i sit them within the same hosting? and then i just connect them to different domains?

last is with the ad account. is it safe to use just one account from adsense or adbrite or the others for all of the autoblogs you will setup?

dude it's in permalinks and you input it in the custom structure.

to make it work you have to edit your htaccess file.

Oh, that's the problem...I don't have a htaccess...
