My 2 Cents

In my first post I mentioned 2/3 things that would be ideal. Here are 3/4 more things that will help the cause and I guess many will agree to it.

1. RESOURCE BOX : The article will be posted from a central place where it will be circulated to say 75% network. Is it possible to get rid of resource box all together. This will be replaced with IN-CONTENT links.

This will make the network look different and better.

Implementation - Say we allow 2 links per article then instead of actual links the user puts in replace words like {link1} {link2}. The article is then spun and link1 and link2 are replaced with actual urls after each spinning process.

Added Form Fields : It will ask for link1 and link2 when we are about to submit the article.

2. HOME PAGE CUSTOMIZATION : Is it possible that every directory owner can customize their home page layout along with adsense code, banners, text links etc etc. So that all sites look a bit different from others. If similar customization is available for article page also then that would be awesome. Although everyone can get the main page changed with outsourcing, but it should be acceptable with the person in command for the network.

3. FAIL-OVER-OPTION : Although unlikely but if the database connection to the main server fails then we should have the same database replicated to a different host and all directories look for primary database server on failure they fall back on the secondary database so that atleast the directories are up and running, even though there will be no new submission during this downtime.

4. BHW USERNAME ON HOME PAGE : I feel that this will be a leak to let x person to guess and they can find all directories in the network within only about 24 hours using their scraping tools, as all the usernames in BHW are wide-open. A Special code should be issued for each directory so that only the manager and the site owner are aware of them.

If you need my help with anything I will be more than happy to extend it.

To rest of you guys please help with ideas to make it better before release as its a lot tougher after the network is released.
