Hi blackhatters, a few years ago all the rage in IM was authority websites. Now however the antention have shifted to e-commerce and similar stuff. So I wanted to ask if authority sites are still effective and make money in 2018?

Yes, of course they make money. The growth of one type of business doesn't cancel out another. The real question you should ask yourself is what authority website it is that you want to build.

The latest hot thing is FBA and dropshipping. Authority sites are still a thing but the scene is overly competitive with those big sites taking up all the SERPs.
