Hi all... just looking for some opinions please.

I've chosen a Clickbank product that is low gravity and low cost (TBH i've chosen it because i'm interested in it so thought it might be a good introduction to CB marketing).

It's a complete information guide to a very specific subject.

My query is this... given that I plan to build an authority site around the subject (and have done substantial KW research) i'm wondering what the 'approach' of the site should be?

For instance if I write huge information pages and guides... that would negate the need for the ebook in the first place?

    So:

Do I offer just 'some' of the information and link to the ebook?
Do I provide all the information and encourage people to download the guide anyway?
Do I compile all the information and ultimately make my own ebook?
Do I simply add all the information and make it an adsense site?

Thanks for any guidance on how to approach this... I think I might start my first journey thread to keep me motivated :)

I think all of your solutions are good, but if you have really a lot of information to share and you niche is not ultra saturated I personnaly vote for your own ebook (more money and you can add it to clickbank to have affiliates that sell the product for you!)

I also agree on the ebook but take it a step further by repurposing the content too. Turn it into an audio book as well, maybe some instructionables that you can provide on the instructionables do it yourself website (not sure if you feel that really fits into what you're interested in doing but it's another option either way). Quite frankly if you've got a lot of information to provide on the subject, that information becomes another product that can be marketed in different forms too as I've mentioned.

Thanks for all your feedback :)

I think for the moment i'll concentrate on building a decent information site with no monetization just to get the traffic, and perhaps start building a list so if I decide to compile an ebook (or just start selling one) I can market to them at a later date ;)

I think the first one that adding information and then linking it would be great because for the newbie, directly go with adsense would not be good option.
    Good luck!!!
