Authority Site Theme

I am going to start creating an authority site very soon I just registered the domain. What do you guys recommend for themes to use? I really like how cnet.com looks so I would love to have something that looks and has features similar to it. I am going to be monetizing the website with adsense and amazon.

I was thinking of using the cnews theme here:

Any other suggestions? I will probably buy the theme and share it on the forum later. If anyone has a nulled version to play around with that would definitely be appreciated too .

Yeah that would work well for an Authority theme. The nivo slider always looks good and there is a proper menu bar with lots of room for expansion.

i'm using prose theme from studio press. its a good theme and easy to customize

prose theme is great..very flexible. you can install genesis hooks for easy customization.

Pretty difficult to get it going and its not a big software company so support was lacking but I am happy with the way it can look in the end.
