Authority Site & Micro Niche Site

Hi guys, how hard is it to rank a page of the authority site compared to micro niche site?

i had few keywords in my mind and was going to create a micro niche sites with the keyword domain.

all the keywords are somewhat related to one subject, but i thought it would be easier to make and rank individual sites cuz of the keywords are domainable.

I am now unsure of the whole plan.

is it lot harder to rank the individual pages (treat them as a one micro niche site on my side) than one complete domained site?

and how different is between

keyword-in-domain dot com vs authoritysite dot com/keyword-in-url

?

IMO I think it can be done but this is not the good question to be made. Why not doing a proper kwd reserach instead and competing with non-authority sites.
That would mean ranking quicker => banking quicker.

As for the 2nd question it depends not only about the kwd in domain, it also depends on relevant content, powerful and relevant backlinks and many other factors. GL in what you want to do, but better think 10 times and act once

authority sites do take longer to rank but after they do, they are fairly easy to maintain. Microniche sites are hit and miss. I have a few that are doing fair to good, and many that are doing poorly. Consider this, it's a lot easier to maintain 2-3 authority sites than 40-50 microniche sites. If you have good organization, it's not a problem, but if you don't, it can make you pull out your hair trying to keep up.

If you do a proper kwd research and some SEO you can do very well with MNS. It's all about the plan you have and how you stick to it.

I was kind of unclear what my questions were.

my question is how important to have a keyword in 'domain'

compare to have a keyword in url.

Oh, I see. IMO it is an important factor to have your kwd in the domain URL like keyword.com rather than to have it in the URL like yourdomain.com/keyword.

IMO, MNS is quicker and can pay off more. That said if you are committed to building an authority site, then research it and take action.

I see one man's 40 niche site being deindexed cuz using same theme. I not sure about it.

I think I read the same post, lol.

Although its quicker to use wordpress and its theme, I will not use wordpress.

I think i will just build my own site that way the site will have its unique feeling.

For my KW (9,900 exact/month), there are several authority sites with high PR and domain.com/keywords structure but also a micro niche site with keyword.org structure and exactly 9 backlinks on 1st page of google So for this one KW, it was easier to rank the MNS...but if you have an authority site, after some time you can just add new posts with different KWs and they will IMHO rank almost automatically.
