Hey guys! I've been following Bluematter's and Voidray's journey in making an authority site.
I have a good niche, 34 high quality posts (currently posting everyday) and keywords are low to medium SEO competition (adwords competition is high).

I have adsense set up strategically, but my problem is that my rankings in the serps disappeared (google dance MAYBE). I'm getting little to no organic traffic.

The site is about 2 months old and I'm kind of worried because after using an seo service here, the majority of my keywords have left the serps. It's been almost two weeks and the keywords aren't "dancing" ... they just disappeared (for about a week now... not sure if that's still "dancing"). It seems like it's just me who didn't get positive results from this service so I'm unsure.

The onsite is not over optimized, as well (followed phpbuilt's guide) and NONE of the anchors are exact match. They are all general keywords so I know I couldn't have been hit by penguin.

I'm doing social very well and as such, the majority of my traffic is coming from that. The problem is that I'm getting 0-1 clicks a day with about 60-80 visitors/day. I'm even riding on that google plus train, which is my focus.

I'm looking for someone I can trust and who doesn't mind taking a closer look. Is there anyone else out there who has successfully followed their methods, and is making about $100/day?

P.S. I'm not looking for spoon feeding. When you see the website, you'll be able to see the amount of work I put into it. Just searching for a closer look and some tips to guide me in the right direction.

Thanks! I appreciate any suggestions too!

That's a stretch, and I'll disagree until knowing more.

Anthony, can you show us which SEO service you got? Also, how long has it been since you got their services?

It could be a million things, and when you say "completely disappeared" -- does that mean top 500, 1000, or it got de-indexed?

I'll pm you the service. I don't want to put a "bad name" on it since I'm not really sure at the moment. It's a bit frustrating but I have to respect his business, especially when others are getting good "results" with it. I asked him to put no exact anchors on the links, had the keywords in the sentence of the link, though. Something that bothers me is that I'm seeing no text anchors on ahrefs. I'm a bit offset on that.

I'm pretty sure it got deindexed for the keywords. The majority of them dropped out of serpbook and the ones that stayed dropped to the 200s. Before using the service, I got my report 8 days ago. Keywords dropped out one by one and not one has shown signs of "jumping." It still might be early but even after 8 days, keywords keep dropping lower in the serps or dropping out completely. Unless that IS normal for a google dance. But at this point, I don't know.

I never said I did. That's my goal. I'll send you a PM, I'd appreciate it if you can take a look :)

EDIT: Reread what you said and you're right... I've still got a ways to go but yes my main concern are the rankings.

So I just checked serpbook, and I see that one of my keywords came back all of a sudden. I'm probably just overreacting... Though, the keywords haven't come back for "the better." They just appeared at a lower rank.

I'm gonna give it some more time for now and I'll update this thread if anything. Thanks for your help guys!

8 days is a very short amount of time to wait if you could still be dancing. After you PM'd me the service you used, I can assure you, they're a quality service and you should not have any concerns about them.

The domain is still indexed as you said in PM... just ride the wave out brother. You're about 3 years from being considered an "authority" site, but guess what? You took the hardest step already, and that's getting started. Let people find your site and read your content -- if it's worthy, everyone will be reading it in a few years.

Yeah... I guess I'm a bit impatient because there's no money coming in. Focusing a lot on social media and good ol' marketing. I'm also a bit frustrated that those guys (blumatter and voidray) managed to make 100/day in a few months (or one month? don't remember). I guess that's just a result of their IM experience.

    - I think your site is decent enough that new targeted visitor might enticed to stay and look around.
    - Your anchor text seems ok to me. But since i'm doing SEO for years, I can instantly tell base on you backlink profile that your site is being SEO'ed.
    - I visited some of your top backlinks and it seems good to me.
    - I have one concern though, your latest backlinks was made very fast in a very short period of time.

This may be the reason of your dance. After your number of links being stagnant for a period of time then suddenly you are getting these backlinks, so you really have to expect some sort of a ranking shakeup.

The number of links made is not that alarming so hopefully it is just a dance.

Can you PM me the service you have used.

Yeah that would be the result of the service I used. I'm worried that it's going to look a bit fishy after everything settles down. I'll have to maintain the velocity but it'd be difficult to do that manually on my own. I usually rank with GSA with very strict filters with a certain number of verified links per day, but I'm relunctant on using that with this site.

I'll send you the service. Thanks for taking a look. Much appreciated! :D

    This is completely uncalled for!
There are plenty of quality services here, whether you wish to believe it or not. Please go to WF with that crap.
    Bye.
