Hello mates! Wanted to know that my backlink that i got from Pinterest is of 34 authority score but when i got it previously it was of 91 authority score why is this happening and what can i do to prevent it? Though the authority score of Pinterest is 100, how is it calculated?

Getting too many backlinks from the same website can also reduce the quality of the backlink and considered a spam backlink

I guess the authority has been re-evaluated by Pinterest. If your concern is ranking on Google, little things luke this shouldn't bother you. The reduction in a third-party authority score won't affect how Google ranks or sees your site.

It dropped because the authority of the page has dropped. The authority of a page mainly depends on its engagement from other people.
