Authority amazon site or Mini Site?

I have researched some keywords, suitable for amazon. Wondering what experienced amazon affiliates recommend.

Authority with general niche domain name and separate pages for each keyword? or just one mini site (with emd) targeting 1 or 2 keywords on homepage and possibly expand from there?

I use 1 niche site. In every site i promote few products.

I like to build mini niche sites but build them in a way that if they do well, I can convert them into an authority site. This way you can test various niches and capitalize on the ones that actually convert instead of spending your time based on theory. But, do whichever method you are more comfortable with.

I started testing authority site method now. Will see how it goes. But niche sites can get results faster.
