Hey guys,

the german authorities stopped the delivery of my package with proxy hardware from UK, while the package hasn't even entered the country yet...

They want to know the exact content of my package and the purpose. What do you think should I tell them?

Edit: Btw I already ordered a package before without getting problems with customs

It's probably customs related to the fact the UK is doing its Brexit thing.

You will need to declare the goods and probably pay VAT.

It's nothing to worry about. It's not related to the contents of your package but a tax thing.

Proxy hardware is nothing illegal, tell them they are network modems.

Thank you bro, that's all I need to know

Hmmm that's a though one, especially that they become suspicious even before the package entered the country + Germany laws, Proxy selling might be viewed as something shady so that's why they need further info. If I would be you, I would tell that for personal purposes such as testing quality of ISPs or something.

Or I would cancel the order, then ask the provider of equipment to disassembly and send it as separate packages. Then you got technical components for various tasks. Though one!

Your very welcome.

Order your modems elsewhere next time.

For example - because of brexit, I now use amazon.de, so I don't have to pay VAT.

To buy modems nothing beats local facebook groups or ad boards. Got mine as low as 10 EUR per unit.

Are you using something stronger than a tea this evening?

Why are you commenting if you think its a though one?

Those modems can be bought in any local mobile phone store.

there is nothing against laws in EU and probably in Germany as well, I know a plenty guys owning proxy farms in that country.

And secondly you do not need to state purpose of this package, only what are the goods and value of them, so gov can tax you!
