Hi I own about 40 Facebook pages, I don't mess with stupid pages only generic keyword pages which are linked to websites, I never spam and most of the time never post any thing, just do account maintenance ie remove spammers some of my pages get hit hard by spammers daily.

Today I get a email from Facebook saying that I have 3 weeks to authenticate a specific page which has around 30k fans sure its not up their on the fan count but its a good niche -

I already have a fan widget on the specific website which is linked to the page,

The weird thing is when I fill out the Facebook form It does not even work correctly it keeps comming up with this message "Please add contact email address", but up the top of this form is specifically states if you add a Fan Widget you do not have to add a contact email address. I have tried adding email address from the website added to my account, email address on the account, email address added via another account NOTHING works, it is obviously a stuff up from a programmer at Facebook, I find it funny they have not tested this page.

Message that popped up on my page -

Message from this stupid form -

Any one seen this rubbish from Facebook, its just another note that no page is safe.

I had the same problem, ended up creating an email from the domain I was linking to and it worked like a charm. Hope this helps
