Here, a really interesting story about facebook privacy.
October 26, 2011 ? VIENNA (AP) ? Max Schrems wasn't sure what he would get when he asked Facebook to send him a record of his personal data from three years of using the site.

What the 24-year-old Austrian law student didn't expect, though, was 1,222 pages of data on a CD. It included chats he had deleted more than a year ago, "pokes" dating back to 2008, invitations to which he had never responded, let alone attended, and hundreds of other details.

you guys might want to contact facebook for your data just for the fun of it....lol

Why does facebook keep so much data? It probably costs them a shit ton to keep buying new harddrives, instead of clearing the data.

You NEVER throw away anything in this age! EVER!!! Why not? You never know. Tomorrow someone could create some AI flavor that can tell what a person will buy 2 seconds after that person sees it. All by analyzing his FB habits from the last 2 years.

G claims (unoficially) to have saved all the searches that went through them from the beginning.

So yeah, save it today, sort it out later :D

Besides, a terabyte on HDDs and tapes probably costs less than a cent when ordered hugely in bulk.

Addendum:
The guy should also ask the Austrian secret services for THEIR data on him, I am sure it would not be just a CD but a couple of DVDs with all the latest surveillance craze in Europe.

Are you kidding? Having so much data on everybody gives them so much power. Not to mention I'm sure storage space isn't an issue for a multi-billion dollar company.

Thats why I always change what I like and go from being for something to against it to back for it etc.. So they do not know what I like.:D

Slipping him a few HDD's and money under the table for access to the information when needed :D

Doubt they even need to give him money. Pretty sure the FBI has ways of getting something for free if they say they "need" it.

FBI is still made of real people and so does the government, and I bet you any money they all have facebook profiles and mark could threaten them for "cheating" case because he has so much data on the FBI employees that FBI doesn't even know...;)

you know how that boy is ay :D

maybe not really a good question but please specify the meaning of power adsense users??

I bet he's already logging in into FBI emails using passwords and emails they used to login into FB.

He didn't hesitate to do that to his college mates.
