I am so in! I've always wanted a hacker forum/group devoted to Aus!
We're a bloody good country so we should have a bloody good hacking community... I'm more than willing to devote my skills (what little I have, apart from basic affiliate linking and very lame html) to help the site if that's needed. I would give anything to be invited =p
Anyways, I hope this works out cause it would really kick arse.
EDIT: Mildly off topic here but I just had to say that Wealthy, your Avatar is funny even if I spent 5 minutes trying to print screen it to see what it says.

Hacking? It's a pretty broad term now days, can you clarify what type of hacking you're thinking of?

Hey Fresh, we would have to take a vote on this and see but I would think initially its invite only and Aus / NZ members (not being racist) and we will have to work out some way to confirm you are actually in Aus / NZ
But I'm sure the info and community within the site will be first class
Man the response we have had so far has been awsome. At first I thought about just throwing out the idea and see what the members feedback was and its awesome.

Wealthy I think the site will have the same topics as this site. Its just that we will be a smaller group of people which should mean that sharing and caring will be more open within the group. Not that it isn't here on BHW it totally is, its just many heads make light work (or what ever that saying is)

Well what I mean by it is people who are interested in computers and getting them to do what you want them to and fun things that you can do...

Hehehe, I just want to clarify too that the general site focus will be around SEO.
Also I had another thought, I would be cool to learn what skilz other people can bring to the team. I was thinking that maybe we setup the group based on different peoples skilz and have like a few different positions for each different skill.
So if you want shout it out, but otherwise I will have to compile this info later on.

Yeah sounds like a good idea drstew. We could make it invite only and have people apply with an introduction about themselves, and why they should be allowed access plus what they can contribute.

That's it mate, have highly skilled people in each area of BH SEO. This way we could create group methods combining everyone's special talents and these methods would only be available to the people on the inside

seriously we should make it real tight - id say invite only myself ,and i agree we should all specialise and focus on one area and then come back mastermind and share with everyone else the good stuff we continually learn- ie someone specialise youtube , someone else cookies sf - ebay - etc etc- keeping this tight willmake it a lot harder to cop any shit over

hahaha I can't seem to edit that post.Mate I think it is interesting with the US economy, your right people will be living on a shoe string but that also means more people will need to work a second job or look for a second income. These days a lot of people have a friend or someone they know that is earning cash on the net. So I think more people are going to look to the net for a second income.

Yeh we want this to be a very tight group. There wont be a huge amount of places available, this way we can share new methods knowing they wont get saturated quickly.
Yes the idea of having different people with a difference focused skill is what we want. Some people will be skilled in many things but if each person is bringing one main skill to the team then everyone will benefit.
You really don't need new methods for australia, Its all in the execution of the ideas and applying what works already. Because of how google favours .com.au for oz searchs there is heaps of traffic to be stolen, that at the moment is going to US sites.
