Audio Quality sucks on youTube? Help!!!

Im trying to upload my music video to youtube. Only problem is everytime I do it the audio quality is ruined! I think this is because youTube compresses the uploaded videos, but does any1 know how to avoid this? How can I get my music video up on youTube without it sounding like crap? Thanks.

Make a little note in your videos comments to tell people to add a &fmt=18 to the url for a high quality version?, thats about all i can think of.

try to get ahold of the highest quality videos you can i.e. HD videos so that when you upload it and YouTube compresses it the video and sound quality remain high.

dude, I uploaded videos in 320x240 and sound excellent in youtube.
you have to format them properly before uploading.
i used camtasia 4
i used .mov format
i made a preset in camtasia, with these options:
-quick time mov
-H.264 compression
-frames: 15 keyframe: automatic
-sound settings: mpep_4 / 48KHz / mono
-stretch to fit
-standard video size: 320x240

all these give you good video and sound quality, with small file size, around 1.5-2Mb/minute of video.

Sounds good and all, but where did you get Camtasia?? It costs like $300! Unless there's a cracked vs somewhere.
