audience targeting in facebook for construction site?

i have a construction business and want to reach customers through facebook ads. i provide interior designing, painting, flororing, plumbing, and other civil works
How should i target audience?
1. should i only put the location & age and no detailed targeting. Because these type of service required by all general publib
or
2. should i also go with the detailed targeting

please suggest

I'm not sure if Facebook ads is the platform. Get networking and out there in the real world. A client I've worked with in a similar field mostly got their customers through the network.

If you're at the point you want to scale your service, personal contact is still the way to go. To scale up that client bought a database with the addresses of all people in the industry in his service region and send them a letter with a 200$ discount on the first order. Everybody that didn't reply to that was followed up by phone (freelance outbound sales guys was hired for this). This brought in lots of first orders, if the service you provide is good they'll come back after.
