Auctions removed because of image!?

Hey guys I am sorry if there is already a thread about this first of all but I couldn't find one. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them as I though it was weird. What happened basically was my auctions on Eblay got removed because of copyright issues. I used images that were copyrighted to the company that manufactures the product in my auctions like it seems everyone else on Eblay. So I am wondering why did they pick me when everyone does it? Just though it was really weird. Thanks in advance for any explanation!

Hmm...maybe don't pick images that are top ranked in Google images search.

I happen to have similar problem too recently. I just Google'd image search, pick whatever that is good on the first page, and within the next day, baam--the auction got removed for copyright issues.

Perhaps add your own text and etc to the image would help, and most definitely don't just pick images straight off google images.

+ You arent allowed to link to images that are not hosted by eBay as you could just change them on the server

Also people would be able to add code from their own server - rhymes with snookie muffing

Are you using cookie stuffing on ebay directly, sounds like it, no need to use your own server space when you can host images on ebay for free

The issue with that is they charge you for additional images hosted by them.

This has happened to me a lot. There are a few items, that it is best to not post a picture with. Mostly software and digital media. Microsoft products in particular, they patrol Eb@y like Nazis. If all the things everyone else has suggested doesn't work, I would kill the pics.

I also got fucked by a ebay a few times because of this, bottom line, just take low profile or selfmade pics to put up on your auction page.
