Indian point of view: we have 3 versions for English Word "You" in Hindi i.e. "Tu, Tum & Aap" Tu = for people younger, Tum = for contemporary and Aap = for people older and those you respect. So, respect is ingrained in our culture and psyche but its difficult to express it with same nuance in English. English may have a lot to learn from us.

This whole thread is ignorant and reads like a racist dog whistle. Indian people speak Indian English, which doesn't have to conform to American or British English.

Applications start with "Dear Sir". This is what was/is taught.
"Dear Sir" is different then "Hello Dear".
This is not about being racist or belittling.
1. I am trying to help because "Dear" is what catfish scammers use.
All of the fake online dating profiles and email scammers use "Dear" when they are trying
to pull off their scam.
2. Only married couples use Dear as a term of "endearment"
en-dear-ment: a word or phrase expressing love or affection.
If you are trying to be polite or respectful that's great!
But using Dear is not the correct way of doing so.

You're right but different places have different versions, cultures, variations.
You can keep saying that but it won't change.
That's the way it's here because English version has the impact of native language.
Fun fact here we don't have even 1 native language.
I don't know the exact number but it goes over 100 or even 200.
Same story no point in calling out as it won't change ever.
English is just a necessity like PayPal, we want but can't avoid.
Fun fact a section of those people using those words you mentioned don't even know English.
They just use any free translation service.
Well you can either ignore them & find a native speaker or just adjust & adapt.
That's what they are trying to do adjust & adapt to English.
