Hi
Does anyone have experiece using atomic email sender using proxies option ?
I can't make it work sending with proxies.. :-(

I have downloaded the demo version .. trying to send with proxies.. (smtp work, though)

I have open the required ports in firewall and checked
in Telnet that port is actually listening

I have tried open proxies and private proxies

I have talked to atomic support... no solution

I have tried this on my vps and also on my own computer..

Anyone have any advice/ suggestions ?

Are your SMTP proxies working?

You either need SMTP proxies or SOCKS proxies.

SMTP = IP which allows you to send emails which has setup on that server.

You cannot send email via IP which is not validated for SMTP . What your trying to do is giving cookie to infant who doesn't know how to eat.

When you try to forward email from your SMTP to normal or anonymous proxy it wont know what to do and its like blackhole no matter you send million or trillion emails are just dropped.

Solution:
1) You need to setup port forwarder on network level and no one allows you to do that cause you dont have access to proxies backend.
2) You need to search marketplace which proxies already have ability to handle SMTP requests.

Good luck.

Yes you need smtp proxies or socks. But yes in general it's possible

Yes, I have a windows server .. and a mailserver set up.. And it work to send email with that.. local host , port 25
Regarding solution 2... I thought socks proxies could handle SMTP request (?)

yes, I used socks, 4 and 5 .. ..

Seems like atomic email sender is ignoing the proxy settings... don't know why ??

It probably has some proxy testing feature that is marking those proxies down.
