So, i own about 6 websites (all unrelated), all with footer links to my money site.
All my websites are hosted with the same hosting provider, with add-on domains.

At what limit does this count as a "blog network"? Will I get penalized for such a thing?
These websites aren't really "Blogs", but rather separate projects I'm working on.

thanks

IMO multiple sites on the exact same IP sending the same backlinks to the same sites can get you penalized. I don't think it's a "blog network" issue, since blog networks usually don't use more than 1 site per ip (anyway mine is using at least a different c-class for each blog) and their links are contextual and not footer links

You won't really get any SEO benefit from these footer links and you're creating a clear footprint of ownership, (since they're all on the same IP), which can be unsafe from the perspective of Google. It would be safer to not interlink any of your sites so that they look more distinct in future; you don't want to risk any monetization strategies.

You are wasting your time...

This is not a network. IF anything work on building out some some link trades, which if done right will get you some link juice. This strategy you are using doesn't do anything.

Footer links in a bunch of unrelated sites a private network does not make.
