have you stopped doing SEO, building links? Maybe your competitors are building links and you're not. Have you added content at all?

If you ever have a page that needs duplicate content (such as a product page), you should de-index it. Do this by removing it in your .htacess page. This way, people can still see the page on the site, by the search engine bots will not crawl that particular page. If you find it still showing up in the search results, contact google and ask them to manually remove it.

Doesn't google assume some amount of duplicate content for a site?

Anyways, you can also remove pages you don't want indexed with the robot.txt file that you submit to google in your webmaster tools.
