Asura Hosting SUCKS!

Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to post this or not, but I just wanted to say to NEVER USE ASURA HOSTING

The servers are down about 1/4 of the time at random times. It may be cheap, but it is cheap for a reason...

AVOID ASURA HOSTING!

Any more bad hosting and I'm just going to just forget about the internet and get Atv.

I agree.I bought an hosting service with Asura, as the prices were very low and decent.
Unfortunately, the line is bad and my website were often down.

Have you guys contacted our support department regarding this? We do have safety precautions put in place that clients often mistaken for downtime, a good example of this is a client being blocked by our firewall for using incorrect passwords multiple times, thus being blocked and thinking their site is offline. This is why we always encourage customers to use third party sites to check if their site is actually offline.

The last downtime we experienced was in may, on one of our servers due to a kernel upgrade. (Downtime only effected 20% of our client base and lasted for about 100 minutes).

I hope we can get this resolved.

Asura hosting is the shit for raw HTML sites. Don't use it for WP though.

I would recommend it for hosting affiliate sites. 20 for 10$ a year.

Did you respond to @CarloTav By his post looks like he works there or has something to do with them.

I they are saying no down time but you are not able to access your site. Could be your IP got a soft block in firewall and once that drops off you can access again and then blocked again. Not sure what the issue really is but that could just be one cause.
