    Hi

I am a noob :). I am trying to make some money off AC so i can use it to fund other online business models. Okay, at first, I conceived AC to be easy and just picked up 4 articles from an article directory and rewrote them. I donot have money to pay freelancers. I am not a good writer but I tried to rewrite them as best and uniquely as I could. However, just two days after I had submitted my articls( rewrites), I logged in, and to my utter disappointment I saw that all of them had been "Editor declined". I thought AC took at least a week to review articles. How come they denied my mine so quickly.????Does anyone know if AC automatically checks the articles first fro something and if they pass it, then they move on to actualhuman review??? And all of them had this reason for being rejected..

" Thank you for your submission. Ac is buidling a library of.............content bla bla...unfortunately this submission doesnt differ in topic or breadth from existing content to qualify.....bla bla"

Alright, so now what is that supposed to mean? and how do i get around it? what type of articles do "differ in breadth etc etc"???

Btw, I am also copy pasting articles I submitted so that you guys can know exactly what i submitted and please point out any mistakes, I would be really graetful for any help.

I'm not using outsourcing at this point either. But Redtide's book really goes into depth on these questions for you. He shows you how to maximize your earnings, whether 1 account or a million accounts.

First, don't get your articles from article directories. They're not in depth enough on your topics. Plus, think about it... if everyone is getting the same stuff from the AD then the editors are going to recognize them right away and you risk higher rejection rate.

Pull a minimum of 3 articles on your topic, read them all, compile into a new piece.

Use DNS to speed up the writing process when doing it all by yourself. :)

Ways to Appear Stylish when playing outdoors -- narrow down to like X number of Ways to appear stylish when playing X sport

Having enjoyable themes for your children's parties -- narrow down into a series of articles -- How to Decorate for X theme for birthday party

Buy the program Rightwriter 5.0. It will keep your work in active voice and sentences short. Shoot for 7th to 9th grade reading level in complexity of your words and length of your sentences.

    Need higher word counts?

Use subheadings with your keyword in them.

    Hope these helps.

Thanks man, that cleared a few things up. Also, I guess It would be ungrateful to ask one more dumb question when you already have given a lot of useful info to work with.

My question : where to find articles from, if not article directories, I am not asking someone to give up their source, obviously. but if you think you can give some tips on where to find them and also if you dont want to make it public then you can pm me as well. I would appreciate that.

I just read your first article, Ways to Appear Stylish When Playing Outdoors.

    Here's why the slammed you:

The title is good, which is important. You want a good title, and it definitely made me want to read the entire article. (I'm an outdoor enthusiast)

However, I was personally bummed to see that you did not actually tell me a SINGLE thing about how to look stylish while being in the outdoors. You talk about it being important, but you don't tell me what to look for, how to do it, and most importantly, you don't actually suggest any "Ways to Appear Stylish When Playing Outdoors".

Your article is pure fluff, and AC just saw through it. This is why you got the, "not enough breadth in content" denial.

Wherever you choose your sources, read and read again the info. Do they give you anything to write about or just give you fluff to fill content requirement to match up ads on their site or redirect you to a sale's page? I've learned the hard way. If you're rewriting junk, then it ends up still being junk or you might as well have started with an original piece. Hmmm not sure that made sense or not. LOL

Extremely Disappointed -- to say it very mildly!

As Danny rightly said, your first article had absolutely no 'article' in it. Sorry, but as a good critic would do, I would suggest you to make your title a starting point and the ending should make people wonder why it (the article) wasn't a bit lengthier.

The title was/is really appetizing but your opening para just left a bad taste in the mouth. To tell you the truth... as your readers would no doubt do, I too walked out of this thread -- literally. Didn't even saw there was another piece below it. So think of what the editor would think... these type of articles would compel him to throw up his hands in despair and curse himself for coming to the office.

Sorry again for being so critical, but there lies your answer to why an article fails miserably.

The title was like the take-off of a 100-meter champ... who, in over-excitement, had forgotten to tie his shoe-laces!

Due to a good title, your article literally took off like space-shuttle... without sufficient fuel in its belly...

So see to it that your title takes your readers on an exotic voyage that they had never dreamed of, and at the end they would be left much satisfied, and also would want you to take them to another world yet again!

    Better luck next time! :)

A few things to add to the already great input...

First, you never want to post your exact articles (whether rejected or not) here at BHW. I would edit your post and take them down lucias. AC staff and AC's forum members watch over BHW religiously, you actually gave them all they need to have your account/accounts banned.

Also, while your titles are attention grabbing, they aren't using keywords. Every article submitted to AC should be based on a specific keyword/keyword phrase. The same goes for the article bodies themselves.
