yes that's the part i am also not able to understand i don't think there will be no limit at failed payments. I am also using stripe for my business and i got warning messages when payment gets failed due to fraudulent activities.
This is the equivalent of their own scam if they try to enforce that.

Faced the same sh*t a few weeks ago with over 200 Plus failed payments from the same user with different cards I think even Elon musk doesn't use 200 different credit cards. I ultimately got suspended by the payment processor but this is ridiculous some people are just wicked!

I've seen such cases happen in past and similar ones, where for example developer made a mistake and loop of pay-per-call API is run for thousands of times generating -50k overnight.
Usually when such cases happens, by contacting the vendor and explaining the issue, it's possible to one-time reverse this charge.
I actually did the same by accident, generating over -3k on google geolocation service, I've contacted support, explained myself and my bill was canceled.

Stripe can do the same to what they pay fees for, there probably are mechanisms in place to prevent businesses from being abused in this way so Im sure they can sort it out.
At the end of day, this Stripe Radar is meant to protect the business, not bankrupt it.

Yes, it would be logical for them a protect your customer feature, I am sure it is not the first time them having this situation.

Have had this happen before, not on that particular scale but it has happened. All he's got to do is ring stripe and they'll sort it out. They won't charge him for it.
