Assembled Machine or Apple iMac???

I got sidetracked last year as I was planning to buy a high end configuration desktop but now I have finally decided to buy. What would you guys suggest me to go with? Desktop or iMac? budget is not an issue but for the price of iMac I am sure I can get a high end config. computer. Also, windows is my preferred option since it's a big hassle getting windows on iMac or I might be wrong...so let me know your thoughts. Also, let me know if iMac's perform better than intel i7....

using parallels, you can easily install windows on imac.

I love my IMAC, and besides parallels there are other similar disk partition software that allow you to install windows.

Imac just buy vmware and a copy of windows 7 and good to go.

To be fair, it really depends on your preference. Some love iMac and some love self assembled desktop.

You can get a crazy good PC with the same price of an iMac, i would personally go with an assembled PC since they are easy to upgrade and fix as well.

My question to you is many of the SEO Softwares are specially created keeping Windows in mind...does that mean I can install such softwares via these parallels on iMac or will I have a difficult time running them?

Also tell me about the performance...the iMac I am referring to costs around 92k in rupees overhere in India but it's an i5 with 8GB RAM...how does this compare to i7 32GB RAM

Yes you can run all windows software on parallels

its similar to iphone 6 with 1gb ram is better than micromax 2gb ram

Put your own together. Although Windows runs smooth on macs, you'll have more power on the assembled machine.

Now you need to decide what monitor you should get. I would recommend a 27 inch dell ultrasharp

if you care for windows then get a desktop as you will save a ton of random headaches of having to setup the imac via softwares not to mention the keyboard is different.

Windows are the #1 choice for me too as you will get an high end configuration. But I would surely prefer a Mac and get a VPS to run my tools.

But yeah Mac sometime sucks big in India.

Already got the monitor happy with my LG which I purchased 2 years ago...don't need to spend unnecessary money on another LED btw this is not for gaming but strictly for performance at it's best...you can say a beast!
