ASO Keywords installs that actually work

ey all — I’ve been running keyword install campaigns for a few casino-style Android apps, spending over $5K/month across different tools… and honestly, most of them didn’t move the needle.


I’ve tried Keyapp.top, ASOeShop, a few “private” Chinese providers, even some bot farms. Rankings either don’t move, drop right after, or installs don’t even register properly on Google Play Console.
Before I burn more budget, I’m asking here:

Has anyone found a keyword install service that actually works in google play in 2025?
Something that can move rankings and hold for more than a day or two?

Ideally:

• Works with tier 1/2 GEOs (FR, LATAM, AU, etc.)
• Doesn’t destroy retention
• Actually shows up in keyword charts

Would appreciate any honest recommendations or war stories. Thanks.

If you’re pushing volume but rankings don’t move or fall off instantly, it’s likely due to low-quality install signals. Since 2024, Google Play weighs post-install behavior heavily,dwell time, in-app actions, and organic return play a major role. Plain installs from flagged IPs or farm devices get ignored or even suppressed. What works now is a clean mobile IP setup (real ASN, not datacenter), proper Android fingerprint, and realistic user flow. Some setups even redirect users through a prelander to simulate store browsing behavior before install, which helps with ranking retention.

Yeah, ASO still works if done right — but it’s not just about stuffing keywords anymore. Mixing organic growth with smart signals (like retention) is key now.

So you have any tools that could give real users for my apps ?
i used KEYAPPTOP for a while and mamanged some ranks increased but no longer

Nowadays, plain installs won’t cut it. Google Play heavily weights post-install behavior, usage time, in-app actions, organic returns… If your installs come from flagged IPs or farmed devices, you won’t get sustainable rankings. What works now is a mobile IP setup with real carrier ASN, realistic Android fingerprinting, and natural user flow. Some systems even simulate store browsing before install to boost perceived retention. Mobile proxies are a key part of that stack, making your installs look more like real organic users.

I've been in the same situation. I've also lost money on Keyapp and a few "reliable" Chinese sellers. In 2025, a hybrid strategy that combined mild retargeting with push and real-user-incentivized traffic via private Telegram groups was what ultimately made a difference for me. GEO-focused, visible in the console, and has a respectable retention rate for rankings that last for seven to ten days. Most keyword install services are smoke and mirrors now. Google’s way better at sniffing out manipulation in 2025. The ones that "work" usually tank retention or ghost your installs. Your best shot is micro-influencer-driven organic pushes timed with bursts of real installs from legit users. It’s slower, but it sticks. Anything else is like trying to build a house out of jelly.

This kind of install strategy relies on Android stacks that mimic real user behavior instead of raw bot installs. We're talking rooted devices or Android VMs with custom, human-like fingerprints (build.prop tweaks, spoofed IMEI, proper resolution), all connected via mobile proxies.
Some setups go as far as simulating Play Store browsing, installing the app, and then performing basic actions inside it (scrolling, tapping, even custom in-app events) to fake retention. You can either build this yourself using Android Studio + automation tools like UIAutomator or Appium, or tap into systems designed for high-quality mobile traffic.
