All in one plugin not working correctly. They are not fix errors yet. Try updraft plus premium plugin. It's can use to import and export to backups.

If you had to advise someone looking to become a WordPress developer in about 12-18 months from now, what would you recommend in regards to...
  • Online courses - From beginner to expert. Don´t mind if it is a paid course but, if you can recommend any free ones even better. Ultimately, what do you feel is the best resources for beginners to learn WordPress development.
  • Online resources - Assuming someone already had some basic knowledge about HTML, CSS, and JS, what online resources would you recommend?
  • Tools & Knowledge - What tools do you feel are must-have tools and knowledge for anyone serious about becoming a WordPress developer.
  • Anything else you can think of!
Lastly, thanks a lot for taking the time to run this AMA, really appreciated it!

I just created my site and I chose Astra with their starter site as the theme. I have a loading problem in the mobile version (it takes a long time to load), could you advise me how to solve it?

2) Which plugin do you think is essential to have?

You can minify css and jss code by wp-optimize plugin and then check the speed.

Can you tell me the size of import & what is your max_upload_size & max_execution_time ?

Better try some other migration plugin, if still problem persist, tell me above 2 attributes.

I would love to elaborate my learning curve here, so basically started with basic wordpress setup in 2011, so once i was having a basic knowledge of how sites designs using themes, layouts, plugins etc, i leant about theme configuration files and started converting html & css files into wordpress theme using Procedural Approach.

Afterwards i worked over some custom fully wordpress projects for few years and later on got the demand for customizing some well known plugins like woocommerce, membership etc plugins to match look & feel similar to custom themes.

Later on i got the demand for fully custom plugin development, so i learnt BoilerPlate Framework for this and started creating plugin for clients, wordpress repository & envato.

So this was whole journey through it.

As per your question, my advise are over:

Online Course - Yes pick a course and understand about configurations with in theme & plugins
Online Resources - Youtube Videos Series & Lots of website for wordpress tutorials & troubleshooting
Tools - Learn BoilerPlate Framework for starting & Check GitHub Work

- the 3 best wp themes with high conversionrate for a local leadgen page?

- if I find a good wp template, better use the template instead creating a leadgen page from scratch?

- best and fastest hoster for .at domains?

110MB.... file has been exported using All-in-one migration so file type is .wpress, i extracted that file to .zip anyway
now trying to import .zip using updraftplus pro but from last 1hr its being uploaded not yet finished :alien:

I'm a WP newbie, more or less. Is there a tool, app or method to copy a WP site's page layout to use in a new WP site? I really like how the 'sample' site's pages, objects, etc. are laid out. Both sites use the same theme. My new site/theme has WP Bakery and according to WP Theme Detector so does the other site. If it's possible I just want to save some time in theme setup.

# I think conversion overall depends upon flow of your website but mostly 1-page landing page works for me, never think prospect would go & reach inner pages and would contact you.

# If you are confident with your content about your niche, so must go with fully custom work with A/B Testing.

Most of themes comes with Built-in Templates, Search with template they have used & import it, if you know which theme they are using.

Thanks but that isn't what I asked. The 'sample' site theme layout is customized. My question is how to 'copy' those pages' layouts.
 
But is it normal that my site with wordpress (hosted on hostinger) takes at least 10 seconds to load any page? the site is still new, I have not published any articles.

I am considering whether to ask for a refund or not

Trying to make the lightest theme possible having a diffucult time finding even barebones theme templates. Tried underscores but wow that has a ton of files and bloat too and its supposed to be a framework. Any suggestions?
