i wanted to know what some of the senior members of this forum think about a method im trying........

i have built a convicing landing page and i am using ghostcpa to blackhat people into joining my e-mail list with aweber.

question....
1. i have decided to not use a double opt-in. can this lead to legal issues? (im UK)

ps. they are targetted to a specific niche, but i have decided to use this blckhat technique because it has a very high sign-up rate and is fast.

also when i gather the list should i promote to the list using something other than aweber, because i cant stay annonymous with aweber, and id like to stay under the radar, even though the offers i promote are very targeted

im quite new to this, so please refrain from flaming too hard, just looking for constructive comments

what you think guys? should i use double opt-in and lose convertions,
or add everyone to list, without them knowing?

Have you tried testing on a small scale?

Blast a couple of thousand (3k-9k) emails using a third party software and see the results. or outsource it to someone else to keep yourself safe

Since in the UK it will be punishable by the law if you are sending unwanted emails to the users without their permission. ie not using double opt in
