Is there a more efficient way to ask for Google reviews besides asking the customers first-hand?

I understand that it is not allowed to ask for reviews in bulk, but it seems that getting happy customers to review a business is not so easy. For some businesses, the people who leave reviews are the unhappy ones.

Any ideas to get more reviews? is there some kind of software, or some kind of management system to contact customers?

Thanks.

Thanks for the share, @Aaric :).

@Corydoras007 A lot of people have the same problem as you where the few unhappy customers of a business are making the loudest noise.

My company helps solve that problem by implementing a system that is normally presented in-store, that collects all customer feedback and automates where the feedback goes.

If customer feedback is positive, it is put on a track to be posted online to the rating sites you want to target. If customer feedback is negative, a manager is notified immediately so that they could remedy any issues on-the-spot.

If you'd like to know more, send me a message or check out my post.

Try providing your customers with incentive to get their review. Simply asking them is not enough. How about offering an on-the-spot discount to your customers if they provide you with a review?

You should be right at some point but
Offering a few bucks discount to pissed customer will encourage that customer to mention that business offered incentive in their review body + still negative review (Will present business's bad image)

I'm not talking about negative reviews. If your after positive reviews, then contact those customers who you feel are satisfied and then offer them an incentive to provide you with a review.

You need to realize the fact that majority of people dont like to do anything for free. The negative comment are meant to satisfy the anger and hatred. Very rarely you will find customer who will leave review on their own. In order to get a positive review from your current user, offer them incentive directly or email them for a feedback, make them answer some question about your service, in the end ask them to review your business and majority of people there and then review

Yeahp. You can ask some people to do it with some compensation
