Hello guys i was wondering if i can invest in crypto with long terms in future what i have in my wallet is 20$ is all i got due to my country poor currency which currency you suggest for me to buy ?
Thanks in advance.

I think in your financial position investing isnt really viable, especially not if you’re putting your money in a risky asset.

If you’re set on investing in crypto a better way would be to determine a set amount monthly and set it aside into BTC through a DCA strategy and keep a long term horizon (4-8 years).

Crypto ain't for investors that have little money... every crypto site has a heading "only spend money that you can afford to lose as this is a hig risk investment"

In other words it means " don't inves if you ain't clever enough, as you'll lose all your money and cry to mother and father if done so"

Even $20 can be converted to good amount with meme coins if you spend good time on research.

which currency you suggest for me to buy ?
None. You're probably thinking that you can turn $20 into $100k or something lol first thing to ask yourself is are you being realistic spending just $20 on a gamble? Wouldn't you be better with spending your time building your digital assets for sale on free marketplaces, rather than chasing get rich with $20 on crypto (that you can't even cash out once you put in! lol)

What's there to research in memecoins? Which dog/cow/frog/cat picture is funnier?

Tell that to the guys researching ICOs, GameFi, metaverses, and NFTs. Memecoins will be right where they always are after this year's crypto winter – nowhere.

Bro, buying Bitcoin right now is risky, and finding good alts is tough – the market's topping out. Hold off until next year. Start investing when BTC is down 75%.

Do NOT invest in memes for long term.

Put your money in BTC/ETH/SOL. Got to WORK and add more when you have extra. Watch the space if anything major changes and reallocate your stack. Do this for 4-5 years, you'll have a decent amount of money. Not mega rich, but decent.

Sometimes I don't understand these sort of posts, why would you trust a bunch of strangers for financial advice?

YOU can Buy DOGE or PEPE

You can turn that $20 into $500 or more but you will need to learn how to AND get lucky. But its VERY possible with crypto. Crypto is an incredible opportunity for all of us to break out of the rat race.

Divide your funds into two categories.

First category: Buy and hold something stable and predictable.
Second category: Use it for playing and experimenting (for learning purposes).

Look into Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH) for starters, as they have strong track records. Alternatively, research projects like Cardano (ADA) or Solana (SOL) for potential growth. Diversify if possible and only invest what you can afford to lose.

I would recommend Bitcoin in your case. But keep in mind that it is a longterm investment (As you mentioned) so you should not put funds into Bitcoin unless you plan to keep the funds invested for a minimum of 4 years. Don't put that $20 in if you think you might need to spend it inside of that window otherwise you could be forced to sell in a time of lower price due to the volatility of Bitcoin.
