Asking for advice on animated videoproduction.

Hello there,


I want to start an animated video production company for businesses, with explain video's and stuff. So I just finished my website, cellphone number, sales copy etc.


Basically the last thing I need now is a video for on my website. So I made a storyboard, a script, just bought a voice-over on fiverr. But now I need an animator and that's where I'm having difficulties.


In my storybord I want some 2D (or 3D) guy doing things like pointing, sitting behind a desk, screaming, being on a cellphone etc. Also I want random object like a brain, statistics and explosions.


What is are strategies I can use for this? My budget (and last money, but I live by my parents so I will not die ) is around $100 dollar, but the less I can spend the better. But I also need some quality to inscrease my chances in making sales ofcourse.


So I was thinking about getting a template from videohive and find some freelancer on Elance that can work with it, but I don't know wich template I need to buy.. Or if there are template at all that are extensive enough for my video.

Btw the video and the products I gonna produce need to be in Dutch, while the cheap freelancers are to find in English. Maybe someone has some tips on that as well.

You can contact some artists from fiver telling them about your needs.
Maybe there is some guy there who can produce high quality content for your prices.
I mean there are so many artists on freelance sites who lack of orders but are able to create good staff. You just need to make a research.

I only have one piece of advice for you:

- Test your Ability to Get Good Customers Consistently : if you can do this, finding the talent will be the easy part. You should note that in the early 90's companies were paying upwards of $50k for a website, today better websites are free. With so many easy to use animation softwares available for cheap price, I don't see the long term upside. In order to make money in this area, you literally have to be revolutionary -think GoPro Style 3D Videos for Oculus.

Is that not the problem with the whole internet? It keeps evolving, you have to be innovative to survive.

Yes, you should buy a template on videohive. but I would suggest you to buy one of the "kit" templates. that consist of multiple elements and scene and character builders which will allow you to build a video that is unique and with little effort. One of such tempaltes is Pixity land. or isometric explainer kit. and some other explainer bundles.
Also, I could help you with the video creation for a modest price which fits your budget.
Why? Cause I'm building my portfolio since I am going to start my video creation business. And it's impossible without portfolio.
