EMDs are always better. Why? Google consider them as official site for that keyword. I have ranked many emds with very little seo. BTW, what is datch?

EMD and Decent on-site SEO will make your ranking campaigns easier for sure.

But check the competition before you start ranking the site in software such as Market Samurai or Traffic travis to see what your top 10 competitors have on-site SEO and Backlink wise

obviously EMD is the best
its easier to rank EMD
however if its not available then I will go with "datch"
