I guess articles that don't make total sense are ones you can use to submit to random places such as directories which in turn link to your better articles.
Is it quicker going through each article and manually selecting the synonyms (i.e Power Article Writer), or using TBS and then having to read through the article and correct any errors?
Yeah for some people, they only use the articles purely for backlinking, so the readability is not that important to them. For me though, it is more important as I use them to drive direct traffic as well. People will not generally clickthrough if the article is really poorly written.
As for what's quicker, there are some things you can do to make TBS a little more effective. For example, you can go through manually and spin whole sentences and paragraphs first. The interface is really conducive to quick spinning. And then you can run the whole article through the automated spinner which will spin each word. That will give you a higher uniqueness percentage. You will still need to then go in and modify the some of the bad work choices.
You can also start to add your own favorite synonyms so that it will work smarter in the future.
