If you want to sell ebooks on eBay and also want more profit per unit, just brand them on a CD. This way you sell a tangible product, and your problem is solved. Furthermore, since the perceived value is higher, you can increase the sales price. Hope this helps.

Thanks Peter..
some friends also told me to Put a "...On CD" in the listing title.

But this means we have to pay for shipping and any other cost.. isn't it..?

I means , any tricks in Blackhat ways to selling Ebook but no Shipping and handling.... needed..

Thanks again Peter.........

tell them you will ship a CD, then just send them an email with it attached. Most people will be happy enough, if they arent ship the moaners a CD.

If you do not send a cd your account will not last long.

Did Ebay know if we didn't ship through CD..

Or they know from negative feedback buyer give us to ... complained
because as "Bluerickshaw" mention...

just send them through email... after we received payment....?

Place an address confirmation in an email with the option
for a postage refund if a CD is not now required.
Most people will opt for the postage refund.
Make sure the option is displayed prominently.

Exactly.

@OP: Please be very careful using the alternatives posted here, especially if you have an eBay account with good feedback already, and you want to keep it.

I've done what I suggested ever since they stopped the selling of digital
goods without a problem. However sending out cd/dvds has the advantage
That you are able to absolutely cram them with links, free trials, affiliate
offers ect, curiosity takes over and very good percentage of the time I would
make more money from back end products than I would from the original
sale.

Actually you can sell ebook on ebay, just bought one last night for $.40, but what the seller did was put a note at the bottom of the listing, and its addressed to ebay staffers, and i quote from the listing now " Attention eBay Staff: I am an Authorized Reseller of this product and also the copyright holder or I have resale rights to this ebook or item. Full Resell Rights are Granted by the copyright owners to sell these E-books with Resell Rights or Master Resell Rights Granted! This ad complies with all eBay rules and regulations".
So that is what this guy has been doing and he's been doing it well with good feedbacks, so you can put that in your listing, that might keep ebay off your back

I recommend that you be sure to put that you an Authorized Reseller or that you own the copyright in your listing. I have had listings removed without notice before I started including this.

You can sell ebooks on eBay within their TOS as long as they are on a CD. One thing eBay does is suspend accounts if they think you are just selling a lot of ebooks for a cheap price to build feedback. So do not under any circumstances put anything about receiving feedback in your listing.

I do think you could probably send most of your ebooks by email as long as you ask the buyer first. Maybe something to the effect of: "If you would like your ebook quickly I can email you the download instead of mailing it, so you can have it right away."

I think most people will go this route if you offer it in a way that lets them know they can get it faster.

I would also use email to send them this message. eBay can and will look at any messages sent through their message system if they think something fishy is going on.

Just my 2 cents worth.

well you can do a classified ad and have a link or pay now button going to your download site which is allowed as your selling of ebay. problem solved also you can use a landing page to sell the ebook and use paypal for payment edit the button and instead of using a page to go like success page. put url of the http:// blah blah blah.ebook.zip

instead of have url http:// blah blah blah success dot html

or just have on buy now listing 24/7 delivery when someone buys send them link to download but if someone grass you up then you get listing removed thats all.

best bet would be the classified ad thats what i do , i use both method and never send on cd or dvd

As far as I know you can sell ebooks no prob. You must however send them in the post on a cd. You cannot offer digital downloads anymore. Thats where the rules have changed. If in doubt id contact ebay
