Is there a plugin like automatic that combine a few articles frome a fee sources to one post?

I am downloading a theme, then uploading it to my WordPress website. The problem is that the theme is unreadable or at least some of the files. That can be because I'm not installing it correctly because in the .zip file there are folders like Addons etc. where javascript, PHP and other files are stored. How can I fix that? How can I download the theme so it will display on my WordPress site properly?

Please what’s the best file manager for wordpress that gives u all shortcode features or premium for free. I want to be able to hide some folders to avoid been seen on frontend. Please recommend. Thanks.

hey I want to make a website about events happening in my city. I want to list all events for free and paid too so free can be just the listing and paid can be where we can handle the ticketing part or something
also, I want to make this website into a directory listing website where I can list all nightclubs and restaurants from my city and I can offer them paid and free listing both.
I am looking for some good theme and plugin for this can you please let me know if this can be possible?

Do you think the apps on WP are as good if not better than those on Shopify?
I thought WP is slow at competing and evolving.

Been there done that. HostGator = a no-go for me. Their business (and cloud hosting) solutions are as slow as fuck. With the business hosting, a simple blog with a few visitors a day isn't able to run on their server because running out resources.
Nah, I wouldn't go with HostGator. WPX hosting is my current Hosting Provider and so far so good.

Yes, you should always update your core WordPress to it's latest version. Please make sure to use the latest version of your theme as well, as it might not work with the latest version of WP.
If you update your items, all data and settings will be saved in your WP database and will not affect any SEO.

A 'free' website on WordPress? A you talking about wordpress.com or a self-hosted website?
My recommendation will be to go with a self-hosted website and choose a theme.

Probably the file is corrupted. What theme are you using? I can see if I own the theme as well and send you a zip file which is not corrupted, for free of course.
If the problem still exists, my best call would be to upload all files through FTP rather than uploading it as a zip.

Sure. You will probably need a theme that supports events + like a directory that lists the different nightclubs and bars.

The discussion between WP and Shopify is very personal. I am a real WP lover, so my recommendation might be biased
I do like to have control about everything. Shopify is limited IMHO, but a good solution for those who are seeking for a webshop without too much hassle.

Hey Festinger, apologies if this has been asked but couldn't find it throughout the thread.

If you manage a number of WP sites what backup software would you recommend? Appreciate you use infinitewp for your multiple site maintenance but ignoring that (i use mainwp) so backup buddy is one a lot recommend but would love to hear your two cents.

And then what's the best way to keep it optimised e.g. would you save to amazon aws... dropbox etc?
