Hey, i've seen a plugin that creates a fake download link at the end of the post which contains the title and .zip at the end with inflated size which redirects to a page that says create download link then refreshes > 30 seconds > gives the download link it looks similar to this - prntscr . com/nuxlj9 (sorry for the bad link, don't have the required posts)
It might as well be an auto posting plugin that i don't know which has this feature but my searches has come up empty..

How do I "frame" a web page from another website INTO a page on my wordpress? No iFrame or anything I've tried works. I want to take this page: https://www.arrt.org/about-the-profession/learn-about-the-profession/recognized-educational-programs and put it on my wordpress site. Can you help?

If you downloaded the plugin from a foreign source, I really recommend to start over and not taking a risk to get hacked. They might have access to your hosting details as well, so make sure to change all of your passwords (cPanel, ftp hosting accounts, and so on).

Sadly, it is also one of the easiest to find extensions for compared to others like elementor pro (and that comes with its own special brand of headaches with external add-ons with unclean and messed up codes).

The biggest disadvantage of all the other visual builders is the lack of compatible themes. Most theme developers get sucked dicks by the developers of WPBakery Page Builder, the worst ever. I really like the Elementor Pro version, which is clean and easy to use. It's also not bloated with useless features, such like role editor features (wtf, for a page builder?). Most of the themes I am using are compatible with Elementor Pro.

Nah, I would suggest to make it 31 plugins, as Akismet is very lightweight and doesn't really slow down your WP website. It only checks when a comment is submitted, so the overall load time will not be affected by installing the plugin. CloudFlare is good for blocking visitors, speeding up your WP website, but doesn't offer a good alternative for blocking WP comments.

That's a bummer. I think it's important to check the user role permissions of this foreign account. You can manually delete his account through phpMyAdmin:

Next, you can disable all plugins by renaming your plugins folder to .old-plugins.

In case you don't trust it, I would recommend to start over and add a fresh copy of the theme and plugins, clean up your database and make sure that he doesn't have access to your FTP credentials.

How can you build an affiliate program on wordpress? Im looking to offer a % of my revenues to social media influencers and i would like to be able to track this. Someone mention something about a free WP plugin but not quite sure if it is possible.
Try searching for tutorials on youtube but all im getting are paid plugins/apps. If i can do this for free would be AMAZING!

That's what I thought, it's so bloated for a page builder it's ridiculous, I'm not sure why they've not streamlined it till now. My biggest peeve however; is the bloody shortcode based build(WTEverlovingF?!?!), dealing with redesigns for faster less bloated design means at total rebuild from scratch.
I love the look of Elementor Pro....but extensions... The bloody extensions.

3) posting frequency - have 30 articles, each 3,000+ word count, how many articles to kick off with and how often to post per week?
4) strip a theme- is it possible to edit a theme, keep the functions that you need and rid of the ones you dont?
4a) or even copy paste key functionality of a theme (in html / css / java code) from theme without admin access to site?

Yes, I have been using the VC builder for a while. Mostly directory themes are using this page builder, but I am not a fan of it.

Hi man,

I am sending you this reply by mobile device, so my answers aren't comprehensive this time.

1) Yes, lack of activity affects SEO + SERP position. If you want to give it a new shot, start creating a blog + make sure that your current content is indexed (make sure to use a sitemap).
2) I wouldn't use a page builder for the layout of an article. Make sure to read all the SEO basics for each blog.
3) I would go for minimum 1 - 2 blog posts a week.
4) Yes, but it require coding skills. Your best call would be to start with a basic theme, such as Generate Press and add the features you like.
5) Only 4 questions allowed just kidding! I wouldn't burn my hands by doing this. Start with a basic theme and you can extend it to your needs (The Gem theme as well )

2) hmm i can understand why, but with page builder on articles - the bounce rate should drop (good) even if readability score drops(bad). i suppose google would like bounce rate to be more important . so worth the split test?

I posted in the lounge that I have an idea to teach seminars to local towns people about how to build website using Divi. I can share my own latest version because I am a paid member or I can give them a mulled theme. But if they can’t afford to buy a hosting package, since you have to pay for the whole year upfront, can I create subdomains on my domain and let them build word press themes on my sub domain for practice/demonstration purposes?

In other words can I create five subdomains and give each of them access to their own subdomain and would word press allow an install separately on each sub domain?

I’m trying to figure out how to give everybody their own sandbox to play in at no cost. I am concerned that not everybody can afford to pay for the seminar and pay for their own URL and hosting and pay for their own theme. At least at first anyway.

It depends IMHO. If you have a personal blog with a <50 visitors a day, there is no need to take additional security measures. If you have a WP website with user signup, forms, file sharing, and so on, it's better to install security plugins. I really like WordFence for this.

Yup, WordPress is the best CMS for SEO. There are a LOT of plugins available to optimize your WP website.
Make sure to choose a lightweight theme for the best result.

Yeah, that would be possible. What you can do is to order one main domain (ex. bigrondomain.com). Next, create different subdomains through cPanel, ex. client1.bigrondomain.com and install WordPress for every subdomain. The people from town can have their own WordPress installation without the need to have FTP access. You can create multiple environments for people.

In other words, you can create a network, for example by using the WordPress multi-site: https://wordpress.org/support/article/create-a-network/

as of now what is your standard process of using images on your sites to make them lighter in weight? involving plugins, websites or manual editing

for example what i do
big jpg, compress in website: compressimage.toolur to below 500kb
and then... yeah nothing else, upload to wordpress and hope someone will BuY stuFF

but i feel like im missing a step or four, the "Webp express" plugin isnt compatible for mi

It totally depends on the purpose of the website. For blogging websites, I am using the Smush It plugin to automatically convert the image into a lighter version.
If there are not too many images, I am using a tool like this: https://imageresize.org/
